This is a cut and paste from another message board so excuse me if youve read it elsewhere
I have a bit of a problem with my Abit BH6 motherboard and Detonator drivers above 6.31.
I had a Geforce 256 SDR and when I used to run windows 98 everything was champion. All versions of drivers worked with no problems. However I then switched to Windows 2000 for stability and thats when I started having problems.

If I install any (WinNT) Detonator drivers that are above 6.31, any game that initialises or runs in 640x480 resolution (half life for instance) will crash the computer and put the monitor in standby. Nothing on the keyboard works and there is no disk activity. At first I thought it was the card since it was old and 2nd hand, but then I was sent a Geforce 256 DDR with TV Out and I tried that with the same results. I can find no mention anywhere about problems with ABit BH6 board and Detonator drivers under winNT so I thought my board was knackered.
However, a friend has told me he too has trouble with 640x480 resolution under his TNT2 with revisions of Detonator drivers above 6.31 and he also has an ABit BH6 board.

I am now also in Windows XP and the problem still exists (no surprise since it is winNT)
My board has the latest BIOS revision and I have tried removing all but one memory modules in case there wasnt enough power (think I read that in that Geforce FAQ on some site).

I am at my wits end here. Can anyone offer an explanation and/or solution please? I will be VERY grateful.
