71.24 Beta Drivers leaked

    Nvidia 71.24 Beta drivers are available:

    "What I have determined is that the files were WHQL on the 22nd of December and the other files have a timestamp of 15th"

    IQ is extremely good. No problems in any games yet ... FarCry, Morrowind, HL2, Falcon 4.

    F.Y.I. "nview" part is older (lower version number) than 71.22 ..

    working like a charm here no problems.

    CSS seems to run well... as smooth or smoother which is the important thing.

    I won't post the classic "OMG 10 fps boost !!!?!??!11shift+1!" but will say its smooth :)

    One person over at FM is saying they still get the yellow wate r bug in HL2? Anyone confirm this?

    people are saying the same thing over @ nvnews.....why don't beta hardware testers on sites let people know of any glitches with drivers...guess i'm sticking with the 71.20's

    that "yellow water in CS" guy is the only one in the whole forum that has yellow water... prolly installed a gazzillion drivers over and on top of each other. People suggested a drivercleaner session for him before complaining again.

    I thought these drivers were good until I tried Half-Life 2 and noticed that the water on the Route Kanal level is yellow-ish! Also the performance ingame felt like it was running with 8SxFSAA but I checked and it was 4xFSAA. Half-Life 2 seemed juddery and slower which it definitely isn't with the 71.20 drivers. I've rolled back to those for now as those drivers work perfectly with everything I have installed and Half-Life plays smoothly even with 8SxFSAA, which ironically feels faster than 4xFSAA with the 71.24 WHQL drivers!

    Same here, looks pretty funny. Actually i had the same problem with the 71.20's. The 67.03's have been the best so far. I got my highest 3dmark05 score of 5653 though.

    no yellow water like 71.22 I just checked and games work good but no benchmark numbers but got 138.9fps at 1024x768 in CS Stress Test
