No in the contrary i find his approach interesting though TXAA is no option for AMD user

Hey TheWorse, Just wanna say thank you for all of your effort into fixing Ubisoft's mistakes. I have a GTX 760ti and I was wondering if you are getting that kind of performance at those settings, should I be able to attain those with .99 as well?

I have the same problem as you and a similar setup to yours.

Only Nvidia GPU handle TXAA (it's their technology)

I see really nice improvements to ambience, TheWorse. Good job as always. :)

Personal tastes are unquestionable as every one's preferences always seem to be different, yet many say they don't see a point to MalDo's Textures Fix existence, but they don't even know what it really does. What he did to overcome the extreme downscaling Ubisoft presents players when they need to change/decrease Textures, maybe they'd know and at least respect how good his work is to people with low-end GPUs and even the high-end hardwares as well. :)

Before any uninformed individual states that his Textures Fix only work at High Textures, I'd say you should first research about your allegations and ultimately test it for yourself. Differences to Vanilla Medium Textures are monstrous and clearly superior to Vanilla's High Textures itself, as I already have proved on the 1st part of TheWorse's thread through images.

Taking out unnecessary perfectionism, it clearly is an awesome job.

Example: Original game (Patch 1.03) / MEDIUM Textures + Ultra Graphics Settings + Maldo's Textures fix

45~60fps Vsync On, but more importantly, with no stuttering at all, even when travelling through different districts, just like the game should always run and is certainly enjoyed at its best.

    How can I reduce it?

With temporal smaa, without Maldo is like it should be but with Maldo I see a lot of jaggies.

    I use 1080p.

Change your temporal smaa your graphicscard should be able to handle better anti aliasing.

I use Maldo and are running at 1080p with anti aliasing higher and no jaggies.

LOL, could have been cool if you had coded a new anti aliasing feature. :infinity:

If I choose msaa 4x or 8x fps drops too much.

With txaa, smaa and temporal smaa is smooth but with Maldo textures there are a lot of jaggies.

So the only option is Maldo with better textures but with many jaggies or without maldo and lower jaggies and worse textures :3eyes:

    @TheWorse

Can you please make the rain react to the wind?
Can you add Parralax parallax occlusion mapping as well?

Other mods include these 2 things and they look excellent.

I can't help myself, but i see lot of gray or white in 0.99. It's destroying picture fidelity, and not looking real, just like some gray filter. Can you release version without it, or reduce it significantly? :)

Rain reacts to wind actually, but not everytime. I've increased rain skew factor before but that doesn't do much. And when I've increased the fluid world properties trees were having problems :S. It is a bit complicated.

I'm not using any gray filter btw.

It has to do with the CPU and how many cores (and multithreading) its able to do. It says so in the same file where it mention an example with a quad core.

    Just leave it alone.

But mine is not quad core. Should it be changed? Is it affecting the performance?
