No issues so far, I like the new games tab but why they call it 'library' on the main menu rather than 'games' just seems strange, yeah I know it has other non game related stuff in sub headings but let's face it we use it to play games so... also the 'friends who play this gam'e should be changed to 'friends who ARE playing this game.' The download and update screen, interesting but inaccurate my paused update of borderlands says 18 seconds to complete 20 seconds later it still says 18 and the load bar at the side should disappear if you pause it, instead it remains filled. The new store front, faster, nicer, not much else to say. Community well it looks more or less the exact same as the old community screen, it sure does';t have the big new impact that the new 'library' screen has. None of the games that I play seem to require redownloading, TF2 and Flashpoint look like they need to be reinstalled either that or the 7gig and 5gig updates that it claims are need are a hell of a large.
I would use it but it wants to redownload mw2 all over again - so I switched back. Beta or no beta that is epic fail steam .
Does verifying the game cache not work, rather than redownloading it all again. Thats what i use when i move games back and forward between different OS partitions.
Liking the new UI. Pretty good so far and havent had a crash on it yet but will watch out for any irregularities.
saying beta 10 ****ing thousand times does not help....i CLEARLY stated i knew it was beta and also said that beta or no beta it should not happen as its a basic thing in steam. so next time read pls.
