Not here...I mean, I tried 19.3.3,and now have 10.10.1, and there is no such option. Maybe my w10 installation is fkd, or some registry bug.

 

Well, on to new issues! The MorePowerTool app fixed the core clock, but now the memory clock is random, sometimes it will work in game at the specified speed, but more often than not, it just drops to 350-500MHz and stays there until I reboot. As much as I hate to, I think it's time to go back to nvidia.

 

Interesting to hear but yeah the VII's hit all number of issues since Adrenaline 2019 or thereabouts and changes AMD has done since both listed and unlisted including a longer lasted listing of known issues for the R VII such as the clock speeds for memory.

Sales and such aside if AMD isn't going to be supporting what is very much still their flagship card in terms of performance (And what it costs too.) then yeah why would you remain with them if the experience has been less than optimal for how the hardware was supported without having to revert back several months of drivers and remain on these for however long until the problem is fixed.

 

Some fancy water cooled rig there. My VII would probably melt at those clocks. (ˉ﹃ˉ)

 

I have actually been having the same issues. I have been trying to pinpoint what is causing the vRAM clock to drop and stay at 350 but have had no such luck.

I just wish AMD would at least acknowledge the issues plaguing Radeon VII

 

Can someone Run the new Wot Encore RT demo and check the scores at 1080p RT max and 1440p.

The only way I've been able to avoid this currently, is to just reboot every time I want to play games. MorePowerTool has worked wonderfully on keeping my GPU overclocks and voltage working, hopefully they'll get the tool working with memory clocks for R VII soon also, it would be nice to not have to worry about clocks every time I used the PC. Otherwise, a BIOS with the specified clocks/voltages would be best.

 

75+ FPS on Average, new driver is a way to go with this game.

 

Well, with the release of 19.10.1, overclocking for R VII is completely broken again. If you try to use MorePowerTool to set SPPT, Windows will no longer boot and you have to boot to safe mode to remove the registry entries to get back in.

Setting manual overclock in Wattman leads to the same behaviors as always, any clock past the stock 1800 will result in the GPU clock locking to 1650-1685 in-game.

 

visually, a waste of computation and not worth the framerate hit.

 

i must be lucky that im not plagued with these issues the most ive seen is that if i reboot the overclock doesn't stick in wattman. a easy way around this is just make a profile with your settings and load it when your oc acts funny

 

Visually this games looks like 2015 game at best
But it's an good cRPG game for sure.

 

Just use overdriveNtool. Normally it works great
