typing this for third time damnit......
I have a radeon le card to replace my Geforce MX400 card. I'm hoping I can overclock and enable hyper-z on W2K. I have it overclocked right now at 183 and all is well. The hyper-z I'm not too sure of. The anandtech.com site shows you how to change the registry but it doesn't follow the same W2K registry path. So I downloaded radeontweak in hopes of enabling hyper-z. Well the setting says that you enable the "disable hyper-z" or do you disable the "disable hyper-z". How can I tell if hyper-z is really enabled in W2K. Can I go somewhere in the registry and find out??? Or can someone tell me exactly how to enable it via the tweaker???
Help me please...
Darn. Wait a day or two because rage3d.com is down. They have a article how to turn your LE into a 32mb DDR radeon. Well i have to try my best now.
Here is the hack. Open the Notepad (text editor of Windows). Copy and paste the text below:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ATI Technologies\Driver\0000\atidxhal]
"DisableHierarchicalZ"="0"
"EnableWaitUntilIdxTriList2"="1"
"DisableHyperZ"="0"
"FastZClearEnabled"="1"
"Vsync"="0"
"AntiAlias"="0"
"ZFormats"="3"
"ExportCompressedTex"="1"
---------------

This should work.
