    Hello.

First my pc.I have Gigabyte Rtx 3090 OC ( stock ) and 10850K stock ,32gb ram.

Issue is only on 1920x1080P with 165hz. On 1440P with 165mhz is fine. On 1920x1080P with 144hz is fine. On 1920x1080P and below res, with 165mhz i can see on screen small black dots flickering vertical.

If i wanna catch screen its not visible or clip. So i post screen and i added from paint. Just very small flickering black dots on vertical position. Screens not working. Happens only in 1080P with 165HZ. Visible on desktop too when i am very close.

That's not fixable. You need to RMA.

Hdmi or displayport. Guy mentions he fixed it by switching to hdmi over dp.

I made perform scaling on [gpu] in nvidia panel and it dissapeared on 1080P 165hz. Yes it resolved. But why?

Because the GPU upscales the image to 1440p and that means the monitor itself is running at 1440p. You can verify this in the monitor's OSD. It should show the current resolution. Without GPU scaling, it should say "1920x1080". With GPU scaling, it should say "2560x1440".

As I said already, when you enable GPU scaling, your monitor always runs at 1440p, even if you select 1080p as your resolution. That means the problem has to be with the monitor's 1080p mode. GPU scaling bypasses your monitor's 1080p mode, and thus the problem does not show up.

I assume you tried a different cable already. Sometimes it can be the cable that causes such issues. Although it's very unlikely that 1440p would work fine and only 1080p has the issue.

Yes, it's most probably the monitor. Have you tried a different monitor?
