    driver perfect 4 me, w8.1 x64 ( fresh ) + 780ti ( new ) ^_^

    not a single issue 4now :p

    VERY IMPORTANT!!
    @guys: game nor driver does NOT kill videocard but YES overclock, triple buffering and/or too hot only may kill GPU. loool

    Yes, may use Chrome but overclock or "virus" (false program - eg: maliware...) only may kill RAM (system). ;)

    Or download a newer graphic card(Driver) from Internet, I hear this before. :D
    Yup, I just saying that because of triple-buffering just using more Graphic memory for storing the frame. :)

    This may have to do more with how Windows 8.1 handles low power states.
    I've noticed that after updating from Windows 7 to 8 everything ran just about on par...maybe just a slight bit faster in 8.
    In Windows 8.1, when I launch an app (after my system has sat dormant for a while) it takes a slight bit of time before I hear the HD spin up.
    Everything runs fine after that...it's just that initial time added to launch.
    Maybe try playing around with the power states.

    Might be careful with yours too, that vram looks like its at its limit :p
