Nvidia GeForce 310.90 Download & Discussion - WHQL

Has anyone had problems with the oveclocks on their cards after updating to 310.90 ??

I was running my Gigabyte 660Ti OC fine on CPU Stock + 40MHz , and Memory Stock + 40Mhz, and now i can´t get pass 30Mhz for each.

I didn´t do anything, just installed the new drivers, and MSI Afterburner 2.3.1.

Does anybody else have the similar problem ??

 

Newer driver => better utilization => lower OC. Still better performance though.

 

It's just R304, nothing to do with "Quadro" really. New driver is probably based on something higher than R310. Doubt NVIDIA is ditching all of R310 branch for the next driver.

 

oh no I don't mean it being a "quadro" driver its magic. I just meant the overall quality of the driver itself. non of that quadro. GeForce debate lol :banana:

 

Any bench comparison between drivers?

This is what i have tested, i haven´t tested it in games

 

It doesn't seem to crash in 3DM if you can complete a run. BF3 and FC3 are good candidates for such crashing.

I dont now what to do i instal driver 310xx and have big problem with graphics Card 680gtx on windows 8 64bit, some time just black scren when i instal or driver stop working? I tried graphics Card in the second pc and work.
any suggestions?

Just played Space Marine multiplayer - the problem with periodic game speed drops still exist. Now this drops are rarely and quickly(1-2 sec), but sometimes they appears in very critical moments. Is it possible to solve the problem completely?

PS: With 6950 there was no problem.

 

Had the same problem, I read some where you disconnect your internet while installing the driver ? something to do with Win 8 installs a file when the driver installs ? worked for me.

Im running GTX680 win 8 64.

Typical NVIDIA. They seem to always mess up in some way when it comes to to providing basic information for their drivers whether it is showing the fact that a driver has been updated with a new date (in this case) or some information about what games have been added to their NVIDIA Updater SLI profile updates like AMD do for their Catalyst application profiles. It is just sloppy IMO.

 

the only way to play smooth with these drivers is to turn v-sync on...

especially bf3, with v-sync off its not smooth, someone got the same problem?

 

I just upgraded to Windows 8, and these drivers are a b!tch on that system. Installation gets corrupted easily, then freezing Win8 until I reinstall.

 

When i play BF BC2 after DoW2 Retribution sometime appears strange flickerings (on roads in BF BC2).
Driver 310.90.

 

Getting constant lag with these drives in Far Cry 3.

 

Thanks for that I just upgraded to Win8 64 pro before installing gtx680 and have had no end of trouble with MOH WF, since following your advice no trouble so far touch wood (taps head)
