New year just isnt starting nicely, First I replace my mouse feet pads on my g502 core just to have middle mouse button go. The wrist rest on my K55 rgb snapped and my mouse pad the MM200 I might love it but it just attracting way to much dust and it getting stuck in it. Gonna most likely buy the g502 hero and corsair is actual send me a replacement wirst rest for the k55 rgb for free and it out warranty. Which leave me with mouse pad issue. I think I need to get away from cloth cause dust that it catching just driving me mad. Which i guess mean hard mouse pad. I dont want it to be as hard as my desk and i prefer no sharp edges. cause I rest my wrist/arm on mouse pad so. I want to be able to just wipe mouse pad to get the dust off it which cloth just isnt gone work like that. I been looking at few mouse pads. https://steelseries.com/gaming-mousepads/qck-hard#qck-hard-medium https://steelseries.com/gaming-mousepads/qck-edge-series#qck-edge-medium this cloth though so i would probably have same issue but edges are stitched to so fraying https://www.razer.com/gaming-mouse-mats/razer-vespula-v2 this look interesting tad on expensive side https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/pro...ds/g440-hard-gaming-mouse-pad.html#943-000098 Anyone have recommendations? I need to be able to wipe of dust so i guess the kill cloth mouses, but I also want it to soft enough to rest my wrist arm on, Might not mind it it also long enough to put my keyboard on cause the wrist rest on it is not flat as such it always middle of it bouncing up and down not actual sitting on my desk, which also drive me nuts
I myself prefer to have some resistance, so I can move mouse more accurately. Don't like plastic ones. I bought Razer Goliathus Control Edition and I like it a lot.
I bought a Razer Goliathus mouse mat 10 years ago and while I am actively looking for a new one due to looking a tad grubby now, the fact that it has lasted this long and still works fine has made me see the value in paying for a decent mouse mat! Firm resistance with no sharp edges.
If you want awesome RGB, there is only one choice: SteelSeries QCK Prism (12-zone ARGB) (note: it's a hard pad, and quite heavy, doesn't budge of the table) For simple cloth pads... there are many options and they don't differ much from each other.
Call me whatever, but I favour cork pads. Super cheap, super easy to cut or adjust and good surface friction. Or I recycle scrape scuba's neopren material to use as a mouse mat. Invest money in other things, that's what I tend to do every time I have the opportunity.
I use SteelSeries QCK+ for a long time PS Heh... I have not noticed I already replied in this pretty old thread...
