my first gaming mouse: * microsoft habu. lasted only one month. second: * microsoft sidewinder mouse. currently using: cooler master storm spawn.
And that's exactly the mouse I've been using for years now, the G5. Brilliant mouse, comfortable, and responsive.
Jackpot! My G5 clocked up many many many hours on Battlefield. Logi went backward with the G500 imho (except for the laser accuracy).
Gaming rig: Razer Deathadder 3500dpi/ Goliathus Speed Edition mouse pad Secondary: Logitech G5 v1/ no name cloth pad
Microsoft Sidewinder X3 for gaming - great mouse 500hz/2000DPI, for that price! Logitech MX Revolution (which sucks big time) for movies on my HDTV.
Yeah the G5 i had before was better than the G500 i feel. I think mine died around sametime as yours did from what i remember also from Bf2 G500 is still ok though.
OK Mufflore, I know I've changed once before but I'm once again changing my choice of mouse. While I loved the Logitech G600 (the and G500 before that) I ultimately found that after prolonged use of the G600 my hand would feel cramped/sore. So I decided to try out another mouse, and I'm so glad I did. While it doesn't have all the extra buttons that the G600 did, my SteelSeries Sensei MLG Edition is easily the best mouse I've ever used, period. So, if you can, please update the list to reflect my change from the G600 to the Sensei MLG.
