I'm thinking of historical trends. Microsoft can't keep putting it to customers and comp manufacturers. They will go down. If linux makes it easier to use then they could take the lead. Would anyone here try a os put out by netscape/aol?

I've been using Win98, and so far i'm not impressed. I've not had all the problems that everyone else seems to be having. (knock wood) But it seems to me that the os should be more versitile. The advancements iin hardware and software are way ahead of the os. WHY? What good is it to have things that cannot be used, because the damn os can't keep up. They need to develope an os that can keep up , or maybe one that dosen't have to. <br>

I have a copy of lineux, but if I use it will I have to go out and buy all new software? And is it really any better?
