Probably, maybe. I honestly don't know, but their official response to it; An Update on AMD Processor Security
More or less say they are secure from the vulnerability. And at most, just need the Microsoft update.

Yeah, but they will probably need to update their GPU drivers to reflect new usage and separation of memory on Intel chips

seems that processors from haswell included to older are those hitting worst performance impact after win10 update

any comparative between before and after win10 patch on haswell?

Impact will vary with each user and what hardware/software being used. With a bit of time and use there should be a more definitive answer to the impact caused. I would not be surprised to see more patches and bios updates to come.

Is the Nvidia patch going to affect gpu performance at all or is that just related to cpu as well?

No BIOS for my board yet, Asus x99-A (thats if its going to get a one, as its not on the list, they've only got 2x x99 boards listed that are going to get the BIOS fix)

You need to ask Asus, from support page, what they gonna do with your board and when will release an update. They need to provide bios updates.

If OEM will not issue new BIOS with updated microcode you can update BIOS file with updated microcode yourself and flash it back to BIOS. There are tools for that. Just ask here in case you will need that.

Oh crap, not very promissing looking :(

Could anyone here on Guru3D with Haswell or Broadwell CPU based rigs had stabillity issues after modding/flashing motherboard with BIOS contaning latest Intel 2018-01-08 CPU microcodes? For this weekend I had a plan to mod and update motherboard BIOS's with latest Haswell microcodes on few of mine Haswell based systems but after reading this think I'm gonna wait a bit...

Neighbour, did you modded->flashed latest F9 (18.Sep.2015) BIOS for that GIGABYTE GA-Z97-D3H mobo of yours with latest Intel 2018-01-08 CPU microcodes yourself or you got from somewhere yet unreleased Beta BIOS for that mobo with integrated latest CPU microcodes?
