Hardpage will not run

I have downloaded the latest version, 1.31.0b of nvHardPage.

My system specs are:

P4 2.5G
Geforce4 TI 4200 with 44.03 drivers
Windows 98 SE
512MB PC2700
Directx9

I cannot seem to get hardpage to run. I have extracted it
to a directory and tried the NVHardPage exe but it does
not execute. I cannot find any options under the advance
desktop video properties nor does a stand alone executable
run. I noticed that the nvhardpage process runs in the background and use 98% of my cpu.

Can someone please help me?

you must unzip all files from archive (and from subfolders in archive), because it not work if you unzip only nvhardpage.exe ...

 

Sorry if me initial post was misleading. I did unzip all the contents of the zip file to a single directory. After unzipping the files I then
tried to run the exe and had the problems listed above.
