I just flashed mine but modded it first a bit (i used different Nvflash than MSI supplies).
All I did was disable card in device manager, flash the bios and reenble and reboot .
AFAIK you need to either uninstall the driver or disable it in device manager before running Nvflash .

    Hey Guys.
I had to cancel my order of the EVGA GTX 970 ACX 1.0 version ,which i'm happy about.
Will be choosing one of the following brand(Asus,MSI or Gigabyte.)

Why RivaTuner? Its old and no longer supported. Use MSI Afterburner, basically a "newer" version of RivaTuner by same author Unwinder.

I caught hold of a seller with the Gigabyte version. Will have to take it up with him whether hes got the G1 Gaming, Windforce3x, ITX version of the card. I have a bad feeling its the ITX model :(

Was looking at 780s for a while, but their price went back up lol..

If all cards play right, might make the purchase on 1st DEC, and get it shipped to me by 6th DEC.

    They did?

*goes to look at his local store*..

That would be ridiculous if prices went back up on the 7 series AT ALL..

*Edit - just saw a 770 on for $250CDN - thats with a $100 mail in rebate.. not bad not bad..

Well, applying import duty and other taxes, the current 970 I'm looking at (hopefully the G1 gaming) is available at 480$.

GTX780s after the hikes again start at 550$, and the cheapest 970 from zotac is around 440$. Websites have fluctuating prices on the AMP! Omega, Extreme, MSI, GALAX editions in the 490~592$ range.

Yes we love paying extra import duty and taxes. Sigh. Infact the seller with the GBT970 is actually selling the ZOTAC 780 reference for 670$ -_- 780s debuted at a 760$ ish price point. Man, I can't wait for my migration to get the green light.

I thought I would bounce this around here. I have been playing around with my EVGA FTW overclocking the last few days. So far this is what I have so far with good temps and is stable.

    core 148o ish boost
    mem 7800 ish
    temp under 75c
    core volt +60
    power limit 110

Just curious what you all think, and maube anyone else with this card may be getting.

My EVGA GTX 970 FTW ACX 2.0 arrived Thursday, when I was at work. Very happy with it was worth stepping up from the Super Clocked the main thing is no more coil whine :D Also AC Unity runs smooth only issue I have is RTSS causes the game to crash.

I thought spoiler tags were for spoilers. When did Guru3D start advising spoiler tags for screenshots? Or did I miss a spoiler in the screenshot?

Coil whine is still a lottery even on FTW cards. So congrats on a coil whine free card. Hope Iam also a winner in this lottery when my MSI Gaming arrives next week.

I am suggesting using splr codes so users (like me) you don't have big monitors (1680x1050 currently) won't have to scroll right/left.

    That's all.

51 pages in thread so far and I think you are the first with this card.
Is this the triple slot card with 4 fans? And what is the fan's idle RPM?

    Don't need one
hold left ctrl button and scroll your mouse to make the post fit.. why should any one have to learn anything because your monitor is to small for your use ? try buying a monitor that suites your needs ?
