hi there im looking to water cool my gpu as i want my pc a quiet as i can, im looking to use a 120mm radator for it im a bit woried that a 120mm rad wont be enough for the 690.

im a bit stuck for room in the case and only have a spare 120mm mount at the rear.

has anyone used a 120mm rad on a 690 or a single gpu

    many thanks

I'm curious about watercooling my GPU's as well - you're doing a custom thing or using a pre-built closed loop cooler?

No way. You need 2 or 3 (so you can add CPU in the loop) x 120mm rads.
Means you need 240 or 360mm radiator
More fans lower rpm => lower noise.

Get a 240 rad if you plan to overclock

...But can it be done? Forget the CPU or O/C'ing (OP didn't mention either of those). What is the thermal output of his card vs. a 120MM Rad. I've seen a few single rads that are double thickness to help provide more cooling power for the small space, but I don't know their cooling capability or if they're GPU compatible.

LOL How it can be done?
You are aware that 690 contain 2 GPU, right.
Maybe Delta 7000 RPM 90 DB screamer could be enough for total thermal output.
    Definitely not quiet 120mm fan.

120mm rad is no better than high end air cooling hence the shoddy Corsair H50 and Noctua Dh-14 which isnt so shoddy.

I wouldn't even bother water cooling the 690 as even with a modded bios and voltage tweak it dont work. Its not like modding a single PCB GPU like the Titan, so without the voltage tweak you will get around MHz more than you get now. Not worth it at all for the price/performance ratio.

    thanks for the replies lads.

i was just looking at doing just the gpuonly to quiet it down a bit as its a bit noizy under full load
