A hotfix driver.... for 1 issue? We get a new hotfix per issue?

That's a pretty good fix. Multiple monitors can be a pain. What's wrong with fixing issues?

Nothing. But sending out a patch for 1 fix, seems odd. I`d fix a few things at least..... before sending out a patch that fixes 1 lone issue. Aaaah well.

I'm having this issue for months now and it completly melts my brain. I bet every person who has this issue will be glad this hotfix driver is released instead of having to wait an extra couple of weeks for a whql release. You aren't forced to upgrade if you aren't having this issue.

There's comments like these every hotfix driver topic. It gets the same response every time too. Best to just ignore it. You're absolutely right. There's no reason not to release a hotfix driver if an issue has been fixed. There is also no reason for those who are unaffected by this issue to download these. Whql will be released as usual and on schedule. Hotfix drivers only purpose is to give people fixes ahead of time. I don't see anything wrong with that.

What's odd is that there will probably be a WHQL release for RE2 in a day or two.

It's an AMD sponsored game I believe. Might not come out so fast.

Rather doubt that considering that it's suppose to have RT and DLSS at some point.

The demo didn't show any AMD teasers, like Deus Ex: Human Revolution for example, but I dunno.

On Nvidia's youtube channel they features RE2 remake, so I think it's somewhat partnered to Nvidia, not sure though

Unfortunately AMD signed some marketing deal with Capcom as its part of their game bundle. Quite amazing really that Nvidia have been doing all the leg work in promoting RE2 on PC at trade shows and its AMD that signed a bundle deal. I am assuming once the hype dies down they will release DLSS at least.

Funny thing I have noticed is how many people have been moaning at how the reflections look broken in the game (going by the demo at least). If they could implement RT this could be the one to sway the naysayers that RT is not a gimmick and it does have its place in gaming going forward.
