BF3 is 99% because it uses a lot more features. Maximum performance mode just prevents GPU From using lower clock speeds during low GPU usage games.

Why, is two Geforce GTX 580 not fast enough?

I think even one Geforce GTX 580 is fast enough for Batman AC.

Same here. Haven't had CTD in over 5 days when changed to last beta and now with these got 1 just hour after installing. Went back to .79 also.

Screen is flickering like crazy when i get to the windows login screen. Never seen that happen before. Windows seems to work fine after i login though.

'Maximum Performance' has nothing to do with how much a game utilizes the GPU. All it does is tell the GPU to stay in high power 3D clocks while the 3D game or GPU accelerated application you are using is running. This is a useful feature if you have game or application that causes cycling of the GPU power states and causes instability or crashing.

It also makes your GPU heat up really fast, in performance mode.

I've never seen the "flickering boot screen" as a real problem that needed to be fixed. How much time do you actually spend staring at the Windows startup screen anyway? A few seconds?

DX11 mode in Batman AC is bugged, gpu usage drops to 0 every 1-2mins, more if you're moving around fast.
Game problem though, not a driver one.

Brother, you don't enable vsync when running benchmarks! You are going to get completely erroneous average fps numbers. Think about it.

You saved in the city. Skyrim uses only two cores. Your CPU can't handle more fps than that in that location. Has nothing to do with drivers or card. Your card is overkill for your setup (as it would be for mine).

@KingK76 I tried disabling vsync and changing the .ini smoothframerate but I couldn't get beyond 60 when just when up to 62, tho I might have used the wrong .ini it was late when I tested.

    @IM0001 No I wasn't using 3D vision.

@gx-x As I mentioned I just loaded a save to check the fps it was in town, was late so I wasn't spending alot of time checking the overall fps just quick check. Also it uses all four cores just not evenly 1 and 4 use more then 2 and 3.

Same thing here - have never seen anything like it before.

Rebooted and it looked ok but upon starting BG3 the same thing happens.

Other problem I noticed (I run three screens) is that when I go to a single screen, the second screen sometime comes back on randomly.

    Back to 285.79 for me.

    Happens to me.

I had to create a custom native resolution with 58Hz refresh rate. But i can't stay much time in from my monitor it hurt my eyes.

Anyone one else got strange shadow effects in Skyrim ?
Only seems to show up in dungeons.
Not really liking these drivers either, back to 285.79 for me as well I think.

It's not a hardware limitation, it's a Windows one. I've been using Inspector for a while now to downclock the GPU to low (p12) power state while using a second monitor. If these drivers are allowing you to do the same without running extra programs, then sounds like a good thing to me.

Weird, I had no CTD's or any issues with these yet and I played like 4 hours straight.
