So,far AA and AF are working in all my games DX 9 slight fps increase in hellgate london and warhammer mark of chaos combat arms looks alot better to as does Wow and COD4 hopefully WQHL soon Phys X is enabled to

COD4 4xAA works fine. I installed the game just to test it.
These drivers work fine. IQ is fine. Fan works fine.
Again I say 99% of problems are not driver related. They are peoples inability to properly uninstall and install them, update codecs. Anyone having trouble with latest cards - that's what you get when you buy a new product release. After a while 260 and 280 support will mature, but those cards are brand new and you want your cake and eat it too? Build your own card and drivers - wait, it's very technically challenging is it? What do you know?

True, but you can't bash people for asking for help. Some people here may know some hotfixes or solutions. As far as drivers, word.

Is anyone else having an issue with these drivers not stepping down the three clocks during idle? My GTX260 is staying maxxed out.

 

Use Rivatuner. Maybe your GTX260 is really hot and needs to keep the fan running for a while?

This is why you always wait till they revise products before purchase. Latest cards always have problems. There will be some new, cheaper faster GTX260 soon, probably called 260 GT or some crap. They did it with the GTS 320/640, released the much better 512 version.

 

How do you know your GTX260 is staying maxed out? Did you check it with GPUZ?

AA is not broken, in fact, AA in Grid looks a lot better with 177.92 than with 177.83

These drivers are great for the Folding @ Home GPU2 client. They have the performance gains of 177.89 with the stability of 177.83, perfect mix. Overall these are the best drivers I have used to date.

 

I Cannot install 177.92

when i install the driver it says the system has not been modified, wtf! what's wrong with this driver?

Can someone help me with this?

dont install physx driver with it (aka go C:/Nvidia/177.92 and delete the physx installer of this driver, then install driver, and reinstall physx manually)

it says "the action can't be completed because the file is open in another program"
