no its cuda4.0 error or some part of the driver.

I know how to uninstall everything, really i ain't noob. It doesn't matter problem is reported to nvidia driver team.

btw, only 250gts failed in whql testing and that tells you something (1 or 2 tests from total 13).

This driver seems to have fixed the DX7 calls on the 4xx serie gpus, msts works flawless now at a steady 60fps, where it was 12 or less before:banana:

Do you have Threaded Optimization turned on in NVidia Control Panel/3D Settings? Do you have Ambient Occlusion turned off?

Well good cuz if it is a Cuda 4.0 error that is not unique to your machine then lots of other people will be reporting the exact same issue that you have on these forums.

So, how much is this driver going to screw games that aren't listed in the release notes? Since the initial driver release with the GTX460 back in July, I've been watching the performance of my card drop with every driver release. Granted, all I'm playing is WoW....but why should I be getting less than 100fps now, when I was getting 200fps+ back in July and just over 150fps in November....

Hell, they haven't even updated their own PhysX-only download page from .513 since forever now! LOL

But hmm, I find almost every-other game these days uses PhysX.

For the "ancient" card crowd, these clean-installed smoothly and no issues occurred on reboot or anything else strange yet. And placebo effect seems to be making aero desktop draw operations appear smoother. lol
