"Brothers in arms" music when you start the SinglePlayer and you see the pictures of the soldiers with the programmers names flying by over them is my personal fave.
i love also the Medal Of Honor 1 and 2 music. the reason the music enters your heart directly is because you immagine the sadness and grief of those that died in the war to give us peace....call it BITTERSWEET emotions if you will.
the music kinda recharges me before playing these games and give me even more reason to shoot the *****'s. :)

Oh yeah, Hell march, the best single song. Or then it's the Duke Nukem 3D's main menu song, can't decide.

As for the hole theme, Max Payne 1. It's so great, brilliant. 30's Jazz from Mafia is also good (I never thought I'd like that kind of music), but the Total Annihilation music is better. I used to play Quake 2 on my brothers PC while he had the TA disc in the drive, I thought it was Quake's music :D

Best nostalgia music award to Super Mario World. Still the best platform game I've played.

Doom 1 theme is classic, but not that great.

    I must have forgot something...

    Damn, there is heaps.

    Doom
    Doom II
    All the UTs
    Morrowind
    Golden Axe
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
No doubt more than I can't think of right now.

I especially like the fact the Pantera used parts of songs from Doom and Doom II in their songs. I know it's a little off topic and I should possibly start a new thread for this but doesn't anyone know of any other examples where bands have borrowed parts of, or covered music from games?
