Nice job Wagnard, but USB-C driver still detected as installed after clean-up.

I have updated the file soon after release that address something regarding the USB-C.
Where did you see the detection? in Nvidia own installer or somewhere else?
As said, it's possible that I fixed what you saw with my little update.

I think this is what I fixed with my update. If you happen to try again with the file downloaded that have a SHA1: A7C87F8984CC9604943356765561247A641D4139

it should fix this. If not, tell me and I'll have to do research or asking some logs etc...

Depending of when you downloaded the file, you are either on the first version I released or the latest. (second)

When uninstalling nVidia drivers, the program shows an error. In the previous version 18.0.0.5, the application works correctly.

Try redownload the file from my site. When I released 18.0.0.6 there was an issue I corrected like within 30 minutes. Sadly thee were already 150/200 download of it. If you were an early downloader, you could have hit this issue.
If that fix your issue and you downloaded the file recently from another site, It may be good to warn them that they need to update to the latest version.

@Wagnard Is it possible to update DDU to remove Nvidia DCH drivers that is automatically installed with Windows?

Or atleast have a option for it?

DDU does already support DCH removal.
Unless there is something really specific that I do not know about the one installed from Windows update, it should be supported.

Is there a spesific setting/option i have to select to remove DCH drivers?

I used the Clean and restart but some DCH registry stuff was left preventing me from installing the standard driver.

Had to go through these steps here to completely remove it. https://www.techpowerup.com/250415/...ws-october-2018-update-and-how-to-fix-it?cp=2

There is no option, it is automatically.
Can you tell me what registry stuff was left ? As what I saw on the article is already taken care of.
You can also send me your DDU logs at wagnard28@gmail.com

I will install windows on another drive this weekend and recreate the problem and provide you the logs.

The registry key that was left after using DDU was this:

I did go through the whole guide on techpowerup. Don't know if the problem would be solved by just deleting that registry key. Might try that this weekend and report back.

That registry keybis supposed to be removed when running DDU in safe mode.
If you test again and it still happen, tell me exactly what was left behind because it's not normal.
Still if you have your last ddu logs, that would help too

Hi, I will help you ( I have a little idea of what may happened), you just need first to send me the DDU logs so I can see what components of the control panel were missed.
    Send it to wagnard28@gmail.com

Hi, I seem to be having some crashing issues with games, and it doesn't help that I can't remember what I have done in the past but:
I have a memory of putting the machine in safe mode disconnecting from the net and running DDU and when I rebooted windows couldn't obviously do it's download of GPU drivers thing .. and so the resolution was very low ( my native is 1440 p ) .. yet this time after several attempts it still boots into native resolution?
    So is this an issue?
I then install the latest Nv drivers and get crashes AC Odyssey / Metro Exodus etc?
I haven't got any overclocks on the CPU or GPU, it's very weird.

Any thoughts or clues would be much appreciated!
