Its got its ups and down; last year it was exactly as you described. This year however, I was fortunate enough to not meet any of those.

But it doesn't say on the store page.

Story mode I am sure will be solid and yes, from the extensive amount I played on the beta, it looks very, very good and runs well. I will say it again, this is the first COD in years that I have been excited about. Best pre-order I have done in a while and very confident it will deliver.

The main problem on PC was the sub-par AA tech. Anything other than 1X (which wasn't very good btw) blurred the whole scene way too much.

Don't get me wrong, that did bother me at first, but to overcome this I simply installed Reshade and a well balanced sharpness filter. Problem solved.

Maybe nVidia sharpner would do the job as well?

Shouldn't need to do that in the first place.

I'm not trying to poo on your parade or anything... but I would still consider at the very least waiting for a day/week 1 purchase to see how things go. I share your enthusiasm for the single-player game and for hoping that the game will turn out good.. but this is Activision we are talking about!

And I agree with @Dragam1337 . Games shouldn't need to require outside sharpening tools. With how soft games are becoming these days a sharpness filter really needs to be a standard inclusion. If your game has TAA it simply needs some sort of sharpness filter built in.

    You don't need reshade.
Some may see it as blasphemous... because... GeForce Experience... gasp.

But, the Freestyle filters offered by Nvidia's GFE has it's own sharpening filter, that works great.
I've used it for RAGE 2, Quantum Break and Mafia III.... and they look great.

I agree with you, but the MP just really made me feel good. Loved it. Yes, we should not have to use reshade for things like this. But cest la vie, doubt things will change in the near future so I am not too concerned.
