X570 and B550 are the motherboards to pair with your new Ryzen 3000 processor, but if you want true value there will be the unannounced A520. And that chipset has been spotted at ASUS.... Asus is listing 5 motherboards based on affordable A520 chipset
Why are they doing this? Why not release a cheap one with basic things, a medium one with... eh....and a high end low end one to feature everything? They can't release bioses for their main mobos, let alone these forgotten ones
Because the one size fit all doesn't work in computer industry... exemple in Asrock catalog: A320m Pro4 F : a 78 Euro A320 that have enough VRM to be used with Ryzen 9 3950X, expensive for a A320 (exept Asus that are at 69 Euro most A320 are around 50 Euro), why using this chipset with this CPU?, OC isn't allowed (not like the A320 from MSI)... but this kind of pair make it successfull (despite illogical for me).
I hope we get some models with four RAM slots on them. The ones with two RAM slots are a bit short-sighted of a purchase, especially with how ZEN architecture performance is so tied to using a good set of dual-channel memory. Easier to upgrade later (you'd spend the difference between a 2 and 4 RAM slot motherboard when you upgrade the memory later anyway, because you have to buy 2x as much RAM since you have to remove the existing RAM to put newer higher-density modules in).
