Over at Reddit there is an user named callingthewolf who just have posted , allegedly ,

    http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/am...950x-reaches-4-1-ghz-with-liquid-cooling.html

    ( Leaked )
the first scores of Cinebench R15 and GeekBench 3 on an AMD Threadripper 1950X running on water cooling AIO - Thermal Take Cooling Solution Water 3.0 Ring AIO P/N CL-W108-PL125W-A at 4.1 GHz at full load all 16 cores 32 threads , 8 DIMMs @ 3066Mhz DDR4 on an ASRock X399 Pro Proffesional Gaming motherboard.

Looking much better than anticipated as it seems AMD did Binned the best cores and save them for ThreadRippers CPUs , overclocking to 4.1Ghz no problems as it seems using only an AIO water cooling solution ! AMD ThreadRipper 16 core 32 threads of goodness scored very high on those 2 benchmarks with scores of :

    Cinebench R15 = 3,413 points
    ----------------------------------------

GeekBench 3 - Single Core = 4,548 points and Multi Core Score = 58,391 points
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not bad, I saw 8core 1900x TR with 4.2ghz boost, would this mean 4.3-4.4ghz oc? :nerd:

This CB score looks awesome, this CPU will be rendering monster, can't wait on Corona benchmark and V-RAY bench as well

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Who would know glueing CPUs together can be so efficient?

    Can't wait for the review.

Stop, results like this make me want one all the more... I'm going with a much more essential new septic system instead, but with things like this make me think an outhouse wouldn't be all that bad. lol

Not that high in my opinion. It clocks to 4ghz on 1.25 tho. I can't get even near 4ghz with 1.25v.

It's something you can run daily that 1.408.

Considering this Tt lcs is not for high end systems, I expect TR to perform better with proper waterblock. I wish my OCLabs 06 waterblock could sit on this football field IHS...

    1.248 for 4.0 on 16 cores..
considering my 1700 wants 1.35 for 3.7 to be stable at LLC lvl 3

Running 4.0 GHz @ 1.25 I would expect you could keep that cool with air. The reviews are going to be fun to read.

On 16 cores, maybe, but you might have some loud fan issues.

Personally, I'd much rather stick with the 1.25v and lose the extra 100MHz. I'm at 3.9GHz myself because the power savings were so much greater.

As for the V-RAY Benchmark there are already 2 entries with Threadripper 1950X and one with 1920X and from all results the second place is held by 2xEPYC 7601 system with total of 128 threads just behind the crown winner with 4xE7-8890 v3 with 144 threads.EPYC Threadripping :) AMD will just beat Intel like a dog in the workstation class.

I honestly believe intel didn't do more cores because it was already leading.
Now that EPYC is on its way once its up on the market and 128 threads at
a high frequency is available to the average consumer intel will react with
something nobody was expecting. Not a intel fanboy myself. But i just know
that you need competition to make things better otherwise you just milk and
get stuck in time, provide small upgrades and bumps so that the community
doesn't think you're stuck and can't make something new.

16 cores 32 threads @ 4ghz with only 1.25v ??? that's pretty damn good, better than most Ryzen! most of them reach 4ghz at 1.35v+

No, 4.20GHz "Boost" is the "XFR", up to 200MHz over "Boost" just affects 1 Core per CCX while "Boost" affects the half of total threads or cores, then thereĀ“s no a moment where all cores runs @4.20GHz same time without OC :wanker:
