    Good going marthand.

And don't worry about people rehosting your files, it'll always happen, I think most are happy that you make Guru3D a good place to visit.

So nothing for Skyrim, then. Back to Anno 2070 while I wait.

I'm a little confused with the new "AMD CrossfireX Mode for 3D Applications"

Default description is - Use the optimal AMD CrossfireX mode based on the current application and available AMD custom profiles.

Use AMD Pre-Defined Profile description - Use a pre-defined AMD CrossfireX profile with another application profile.

Default = Normal crossfire settings for whatever game your playing?

Pre-Defined = Custom settings that you changed yourself?

If i use Pre-Defined and select BF3.exe instead of using "Default" Will i see a performance boost in Battlefield 3? Or will leaving it on default yield the same performance

Pre-Defined to me just seems like it allows you to customize the other options like AA/AF/Vsync/Catalyst A.I.

I dunno tho. Someone explain it please lol

Application Profile Control is very nice, but it doesn't work
created a profile and it didn't applied to the game

Hey i´ve i question: it is normal to have 30- 35 fps standing on the hilltop flag, Caspian Border 64 players, all ultra except textures and no AA with a 6850 crossfire?

You're the first person I've seen in years (aside from Hilbert) that has an earlier join date than myself...

Downloading these now and will test in BF3.

Game runs great except for the fact I constantly get this message after 5 minutes of gameplay:

Game got disconnected: you were kicked from the game.

This is the only driver I've used that's ever given me this problem. Going to look into it some more.

I already did that with DriverSweeper (the Post-Guru3D version, which i've always used)

I cant even get CCC to install, nothing... this is annoying... ugh

You need to use Windows Installer Cleanup posted above, and again here when dealing with these beta drivers. This fact should be stickied, plain and simple. Driver Sweeper / Cleaner.net is NOT sufficient, because these drivers, especially with regards to CCC, install a lot of stuff but do not do it in the traditional way (i.e., where you can remove it via Control Panel -> Programs and Features). I learned this a long time ago when dealing with some of the unofficial ATI drivers and this one is no different.

For example, this is the stuff that would be left behind if you used these drivers, then tried to uninstall and did not use Windows Installer Cleanup (note, AMD APP SDK Runtime is not pictured, but it's in this list as well):

As you can see, you definitely need to use this utility to remove the old files, since the option is not present in the control panel like it is with the official drivers. This is likely preventing you from being able to install the drivers, and even if not, it is always a good practice to use this utility to make sure that there are no crap installer files left behind.

    Yeah that fixed it thanks...

texture pop-in with Rage is still an issue... Even with putting in the opengl dll or w.e in the game directory... Just wondering, can someone post the atioglxx.dll from the 11.11a performance drivers here so I can try it?

Marth, man thks for these. I'm one of those with m17x that have been having problems with 11.11 and 11.11a with bsod big time. With these they work, bf3 runs great so does crysis 2. Appreciate the upload very very much. Just wondering do we need need caps with these or not?
