Your overall score is being dragged down by the physics score if you over clock your CPU and RAM you should see a marked improvement.

Well, I caved! Was gonna wait for fury but price seems similar and performance will be in the same ballpark. Plus I've not had an nvidia setup for the last 4 or 5 years so I'm curious to checkmout the green team for a change!

I have a pair of EVGA 980ti's for my summer project heading my way. Got a decent deal on them too considering all the price hiking going around atm.

Lol... Well I was trying to wait it out until fury, but after the lack of new info yesterday I got impatient lol! They should be with me tomorrow.

BTW has anyone got a link to an EVGA SC bios I'll probably flash them both to sc when in get them.

Probably made the better choice with Nvidia, considering the slow support from AMD and the crazy amount of Gameworks games.

Nice, impulse buying at it's finest :p. Whatever the fury X does the 980Ti's are still beasts you won't regret them. You going water on these? If so you can grab a Titan Block for the ref model, not seen much in the way of blocks for aftermarkets unless the PCB's are still ref (I'll be honest and say i haven't checked).

Hey RPG, which 980ti do you have exactly? Can I call provisional dibs on one of them as soon as you decide to sell up?

I'm not asking to have his stuff. I know he'll be selling them at some point in the future, as he has in the past. I'm just calling dibs on buying one of them. And when I do buy it, I will most likely give my 970 away to someone on this forum, foc.

Yeah, definitely going water with the pair of them. Will grab some ek titan blocks in the next few days, then just gotta wait until my case is ready to get the full system up and running although I'll have the cards up and running and bench testing on air before that :D

    Good :)

He's always selling something and he's trusted so I'm getting my foot in the door :)

Anyway, enough of OT, you guys crack on with your 980ti debate.

I will have soon my EVGA GTX980Ti SC + ACX 2.0 cooler. Will see what the power that card could deliver.

So I just received my card and installed it. It's idling at 56 celcius. Reviews I read had idle temps at under 40. Airflow in my case is really good considering it's a HAF 932. Room temperature is about 75 fahrenheit. Load temperature is 75 celcius which is inline with what I've read. Why would it be idling so high?

Have you checked to make sure it's going into 2d clocks while idle?

Fans on mine don't run below 60c and idle around 35c at 135Mhz.

How do I check and how do I make it do that if it's not?
