That's odd. Pardon my ignorance but usually when I install the driver I specifically uncheck Geforce Experience, but I still get to use Ansel.
Is there any reason why that's the case?

From what I know even if unchecked it's part of GFE, so it keeps the Ansel components while not installing the rest.
But I don't use either of them so I may be wrong on this.

    C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools\NvCameraConfiguration.exe

You can disable and enable Ansel there, without GFE. There's also another settings available.

Awesome thank you. For those interested, I was able to keep Ansel working by just moving the folder to my desktop (so DDU could not erase it), and move it back after I installed the clean driver.

Does that happen with a Non-cleaned driver?

If it happens only in 1 game, I would assume that's game related.

But then again, last two drivers, and a no go for me. I rolled back again to 416.64 as RTX drivers have made performance / clock / gsync performance worse for me. Gsync stutters again.

Did DDU clean install. Then I made a custom resolution 1728x1080 which had scaling problems with PUBG. Then I went to Nvidia Control panel to fix things and Control Panel was showing only a half of the settings and then crashed. Restarted control panel changed settings to full screen scaling. Still custom resolution broken. So going back to 416.94.

Which driver? Does it happen without a clean install?

so that makes 20 fixes in the kernel and user mode drivers between 21 and 22, not including changes to other parts of the driver.

tried running the latest one 4 times now and driver fails or the display box closes. I'll just do it the manual way. Something is wrong with these.

Nothing is wrong with these. Installed on 3 systems, Win 10, Win 7, Win 10 Laptop. No issues.

Core driver structure is untouched, only additional bloat is removed, either you are doing something wrong or the issue is with your system.

Are you following the instructions in the first post? Have you used DDU prior to driver installation?

    P.S.
Does anyone else have installation issues?
