Did another bench with +150 on core and +700 on the memory here is the result on the left side (right side is with +100 core and +700 memory} https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/16828510/spy/16606301 Still stable just the fans work harder
Yeah 1.2% and 1.3% more is 1 fps more haha at 2100 Mhz clock it is all about the litte progress and maybe my Gsync monitor has prob something to do with it edit here the compare with Gsync off on the left https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/16842885/spy/16606301 overall score is all higher but not a big progress but stil I'm happy with the result and silicon lotery is still in my favore on the 2100 MHz
Did some tweaking on my 3080 Suprim X, and this is the highest I'm currently able to achieve AND able to play Cyberpunk 2077 with all night (without crashing): https://www.3dmark.com/spy/16854296 Afterburner set as follows:
So my stress test result went up from 93.8% to 98% on latest game ready driver looks more like it https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/55832846?
I have the Galax SOC 3080 model and i can't change the power limit to higher value than 100, is there a modded bios for it?
check tech power up bioses... my zotac was locked @ 100% and a newer version of the bios at least let's me go to 105%... with the undervolting and the 105%, it stays locked @ 1950+ most of the time...
I'm experiencing higher power drain on idle/desktop like it should be, meassured with HWiNFO64. It's the same like with my RTX2080 before since I updated to the newer Nvidia drivers. Usally, with an older driver, I had 7-9Watts drain and with the newer driver its around 25Watts. Anyone else experiencing this issue or any tips to solve this? Power management through drivers is set to "normal".
Edit: nvm, I think I found what I was searching for. Long version: My card came with the default bios, received an update after I launched X1 precision the first time, but still my power limit was locked to some lower value. I then flashed different bios versions with different switch settings, only to find that TPU had a comment section and that the fan setting would result in the bios, not the switch setting. I now have the correct 450W bios flashed and the fans will turn off again during low power states.
Anyone here have the EVGA XC3 BLACK version? If so, can you confirm that the thickness is indeed just 40mm? From what I understand, it has no backplate, and so should be thinner than other versions.
Sadly yeah, seems that way for all PC hardware because of those taking advantage of us. UK made it illegal...c'mon USA...where is the ban-hammer on this one?
Well, that's an open market. You're not a communist, aren't you, son? I don't like it either. They should at least have something to prevent "the market" from taking absurd prices for basic things, like water. Luckily this here is just a luxury product.
Hi, not sure you point to which card. By sequence: 1) GeForce RTX™ 3080 VISION OC 10G Key Features | Graphics Card - GIGABYTE Global 2) ELV8 Universal Graphic Card Holder | Cooler Master 3) Sound Blaster AE-9 - Ultimate PCI-E Sound Card and DAC with Xamp Discrete Headphone Amplification and Audio Control Module - Creative Labs (Malaysia)
ah,I completely forgot gigabyte has a vision card now.looks sleek af. side note: I'd pick orange illumination for the components if you can't decide
Ya the only version from Gigabyte in White. Before this I am using orange, now I prefer a bit rainbow. I change from time to time. Using Gigabyte RGBFusion is very easier to control.
Has nothing to do with an open market when it's using bots to cheat. That is how they ended up all over ebay etc. Has nothing to do with communism/socialism either. It's making it legitimately fair for actual users to pay the actual real MSRP. Or people will throw the hobby out the window. Really this has nothing to do with any Gov't system. It has to do with people being jerks botting up to resell at 2x the price. That is something that needs to stop with new releases and made illegal for the Consumer. This type of thing can be easily reported, and more people need to step up to do so. There has to be a time window to make this an illegal strategy. It will DESTROY the open markets since nobody can buy them. More and more people will be stuck with hardware they can't sell and then people will start to ignore the hobby and look to something else....unless that is what they secretly want.....(insert X-Files theme song here).
