I just installed them and they are HORRIBLE.... my the nVidia control panel takes ages to start and settings are almost not responding, also my windows 7 boot is like 1min slower than before ! and I'm using SSD drive !... HORRID - they're going out.

Your are asking the driver to do something its NOT supposed to.

You say that your TV is Full HD? Then set the screen res to 1920x1080 and it will work fine.

Dropping the res to 1680x1050 will result in only 16bit being displayed

This driver totally drives my PC to a standstill... everything is slow... starting a game takes much longer than before and then exiting a game windows needs like 30sec recover to before responding properly !.

These have been 85 days in the making for me. three things I'd want from them would be fixed AA in NFS - confirmed, a working SLI profile for 3dmark11 and better scaling overall in games. 3 hours until I finish work and I can test them myself..

I have that problem to with my tv.
You have your tv connected by vga right?
I was able to fix it by changing the driver in windows to Digital Flat Panel(1920x1080 60Hz) standart driver.

Yes I'm positive - I didn't have the issue with the 263,09 drivers. As soon as i remove the driver it's all fast and snappy again. Opening windows takes ages, and even running GPUZ has a 10sec delay swithing between card information.

Played NFSHP with 8x AA and FRAPS showed an average of 56 frames.
Only went to 45-48 fps for a few seconds but still thats a lot better performance compared to the previous drivers.

Sounds more like a good time to run a garbage collector on that SSD of yours.. never in my many years of computer usage, have i heard of a graphiccard driver causing windows & everything else to run slow.. but i have had the same "problem" 2 times before, it was fixed by running OCZ Wiper, and my windows boot time / loading times went back to normal.

Installed the drivers, and no problems to report so far, watched HD movies, played alittle CS:S Wc3.

BTW have a 580GTX, didnt update PC stats yet.

    NM just updated

These are SUPER fast on my system with a Intel M25X G2 SSD ...

Maybe you need to use the TRIM function on your SSD ...

The drivers should NOT slow your whole system down ???
