Hey Hilbert, did the M.2 heat shield increase performance on long writes/reads and benchmarks at all? Would be nice to see some FLIR readings to see if it drops the temperatures at all as well.
Per another review site, using dual M.2 drives will reduce available SATA drives to four, from six. Please be sure to include this info on future motherboard reviews, as every manufacturer allocates their PCI-E lanes their own way. Consumers really have no way of knowing what lanes/features are sacrificed by using dual/triple m.2 drives unless the reviewer tells us (or we can find the mobo manual on the mfg website). Thanks!
