You do know this studio did not make Fallout 76, right? The last game this studio made was Fallout 4. 76 was made by a completely different Bethesda Game studio.
They were a different studio until Zenimax bought them and turned them into the Bethesda Austin studio for the sole purpose of developing Fallout 76... for Bethesda. So that is why I said earlier they were the "newest" Bethesda studio. So formally, Bethesda Games Studios developed Fallout 76. I know you refer to the main Baltimore studio. But games are no longer developed in a single location. For Starfield many of their branches worked concurrently on the project.
Like 5 per year, yeah. I dont play that many games these days... most seem really generic, or just doesn't appeal to me.
If it's like Fallout or Elder Scrolls, it's both, but third-person will feel like an afterthought and be very clumsy so everyone will play in first-person.
Tbh i usually prefer elder scrolls in 3rd person, but shooters absolutely needs to be in 1st person to have the right feeling.
These are the Australian ratings for Starfield. Maybe we will be able to play as a High Elf after all......
IGN review be like... 6 out of 10, not enough alien sex. I'm more intrigued by it having nudity, are they going the Cyberpunk 2077 / SCUM route for character creation? or is that classification for the character being "nude" but in reality it is wearing underwear.
I'm not sure about this. it seems to have the same limitations their previous games have. same boring character skins. flying is hardly a thing, sure you can fly in space, but not on the planet itself.
Systems upon systems upon systems. If they pull this off without a buggy release it will really be a milestone. I can see a "We are sorry to delay release but we really want to make sure we release a polished product" apology as a possibility. And No Man's Sky comparisons are in order. And even though there are curated locations, the emphasis on procedural generation means you are limited in having a common exploration experience with other players. This is an instance where I think I prefer that part more when I can relate to and compare my experience to other players' stories. In any case... I am willing to believe Todd's lies for now. Still, no pre-order from me... even when the collector's edition goodies look tempting.
