More they use. But then again they are on bigger node but tbh AMD could've made a bigger chip if it made any sense really. 600W as they say. But it wouldn't make any sense as we can see with 7900xtx being what it is.

Navi 32 should be a good card but will probably be overpriced

 

If thats a 16gb/256bit configuration Navi 32 that is my next gpu.

 

7800xt on navi32 die ? I hope its a 7700xt. With 3840 shaders, same memory config and halved L3 cache it will match 6800xt. No progress if true.

 

Not sure about the card name but 7700XTX/7800 would make sense for the 60 compute unit NAVI 32 card

Apparently there is supposed to be a smaller NAVI32 card with 48/52 compute units, 12GB and 192 bit bus

 

Same progress nvidia is making with cut down AD104.

 

AMD has kinda' backed itself into a corner with the 7000 series naming...
With those specs for N32, the "7800" GPUs will not be faster than the 6800's, might even be slower.

Imagine "upgrading" from 6800 XT to a more expensive 7800 XT to get similar frames in games. Auch.

What I think will happen is that they'll use Navi32 as "7700 XT" and below, and then created a slightly more cut down Navi31 as the 7800 XT

I bet nvidia will leave low-mid gpu market in the future and focus on only x90 class milking fanboys while amd and intel will actually still offer some affordable cards.

 

Man this adorkTV guy is getting stupider, increasing Navi31 perf by 50% without the need to increasing bandwidth thoughput? what the heck.
If so Nvidia never need 384bit bus on the 4090, they can just cut down the chip to 256bit bus to save money LOL.

But then forget to use few basic pieces. Efficiency and bandwidth are by far the most limiting aspects of GPU arch.

 

Dunno but the 7900XTX really should have been the 7800XT and the 7900XT should have been a 7800.

If they release their usuall full lineup the 7700XT will be way too weak to be relevant unless it's dirt cheap.

 

Could we see 7800xtx? Navi33 at 299$?

 

If you are lucky, for 300$ (400€) you will be able to get a 7400xtx plus ultra turbo
