You know i did look at the 2080ti deals and found gigabyte blower for 350eur every other version of the cards costs more than 400eur. It was really good card and still is. Longevity is almost up there with 1080ti.

I found a Palit locally, from the same used pc parts shop I got my 5775c, with a 6 month warranty, pick up 20km from where I live. I was there today actually, if I knew I could have popped in, the guy runs a small used pc parts business from his house as well as online. Will see what 4070 can do but this is already a great option to have in the back pocket, you know with 4070 they'll drop below 400 for sure, even now with 8G 3070 as competition they're near 400eur. 3070 is actually cheaper if you want used. And 2080Ti ages really well.

gotta see how much I can talk the price down from 500eur.

Problem is that 20 series wont get rtx video, driver optimizations are not a priority anymore and if ever FG comes to 30 series i can bet 20 series will be left out.

If rdna2 get frs3.0 im happy. Rumors are going around that it will. :)

Looses today and wins tommorow. In two years time 12gb will be 1080p gaming with rt.

    it will get rtx video.
and as for drivers I think you're confusing it with rx6000 series that's getting one driver for 4 7000 dedicated ones. 20 series is doing just fine

    Couldn't imagine anyone would ever trade a 3070 for a 6700XT LOL

+50% RT+DLSS/FSR perf, not to mention DLSS is visually superior.

Well I guess some people prefer shimmering :p

+50% rt means nothing on the 8gb limited 3070 unless you play 1080p. Dlss is superior tho.

    Same system, but 6700 XT:

DLSS is a big plus in a number of games, but Nvidia D3D12 driver is just garbage in a number of titles too. Even Intel Arc runs better in affected titles, it's ridiculous...

    3070 look alright with 1440p + DLSS/FSR there

No idea what you are talking about

Yeah, that's what I suspected. Btw. no need to bullsh*t me, I know exactly how those games run on a 13700K + 4090 system.

You are you one who is BSing

I don't need to know how my system run from people on the internet LOL

just recorded a short clip, so much stuttering LMAO, perhaps learn to test your own PC for any instability before BSing?

I know that the game runs better with 13700K + FG, that wasn't the point. You're bragging with your 4090 + 13700K results in a thread about "3060 Ti vs. 6700 XT", you really must be compensating for something. VRAM consumption and GPU utilization hidden, I wonder for what reasons...

Game ran like crap for me on 3060 with D3D12 vs. both Arc A770 and 6700 XT, your PC/config is entirely irrelevant in this regard.

    Game with VKD3D-Proton on 3060:

Frame times fixed -> Nvidia D3D12 driver is crap.

Why do hardware configs matter when you are talking about Nvidia DX12 in general? you are severely lacking in self-awareness.

No one else has seen your findings regarding Nvidia DX12 in Witcher 3, you are the one making up all the BS

BTW your 3060 12GB is just as irrelevant to the topic, go figures

Edit: this guy seems to run W3 RT+DLSS fine with his 8GB 3070Ti

1% low 35fps and 45fps with reduced details on 580€ card - the way it's meant to be stuttered.

With a frame time graph that isn't configured to not show portions of perceivable stutter, it looks like this without Reflex & FG on 13700K with 4090:

    Reflex & FG fix it:

But there is no FG on a 3060 Ti/3070, and Reflex on/off both produced crappy results on my 11400F in this game. Whereas frame times are fine with or without Anti-Lag on Radeon. But I guess it's not too much to ask for every GeForce owner to always buy the fastest CPU to mitigate the issue, even with low-end GPU...

Frame time spikes from hell in Fortnite on 13700K + 4090 while traversing map (can also happen while walking):

Funny thing is when two players ride on the same car, the stutter happens exactly the same for both when both are on Nvidia, even with vastly differently configured visual details or different CPUs.
When one of the player switches to Radeon, stutters are reduced to almost non-existence for him. Now what would every sane person without ridiculous fanboy bias conclude here...

LOL, blaming DX12 driver, then blame specific settings, then blame specific hardware, I figured you just caused the stutters yourself with all the tweakings

Doesn't look like 4070Ti stutter any more than AMD from reviews, Steve from HUB is a fornite player too so he would know when something is wrong.

In the end you are just making up some BS with anecdotal evidences
