Perhaps shooting has more oomph, but unfortunately they have not shown any open world exploration, inventory management, enemy behavior or other things that were quite uniquely done factors in the Stalker series. This sequel seems very much narrative driven and spectacle like, which may be worth for what it is, but for the fans of the peculiar atmosphere of Stalker games, the latest trailer doesn't offer much beyond the ordinary story shooter genre. I hope they show something more concrete next time. EDIT. clarification
Looks really good! Have to say I'm really not feeling the British voice actors, should be Ukrainian's speaking English, need that authentic accent (yes I know I can play it with Russian audio and English subtitles but that doesn't work for me).
Ukrainian and English are the two fully supported languages, I'm sure we will be able to do original audio with subtitles. A tiny bit of inventory management was shown in the new trailer. Spoiler

Yeah exactly! I think with the previous games the voice actors were Russian speakers speaking English? So even with the English VO it had a nice atmosphere to it.
I too hope they keep the atmosphere up decently, worst thing I ever heard was Chernoblyte, where the English dubs were proper London speakers... NOBODY sounded even remotely like their role should. I'd rather have true Ukrainian voices and no English dub (just subtitles) than something like that.
It's launching on Xbox so it has to have more easy to follow dialogue and cutscenes. Hate it or not, its going to have to be dumbed down for todays auidence. Not everyone is going to like to read all the text and backstory, people now need things explained to them. Remember we are living in the age of Tik Tok and the attention spans of a goldfish.

Elden Ring is the proof that the game does not need to be simplified, dumbed. About dialogue, you can explain everything through normal dialogue system.
