These are the settings I use to control TAA and TAAU in UE4. One caveat, TAAU only works in UE4.19 or later. You can check the version each game uses on the exe properties. r.TemporalAA.Algorithm=1 (this enables TAA gen5, only works on UE4.26 and 4.27, can cause a frop in peformance of 10-15%) r.TemporalAAFilterSize=0.7 r.TemporalAAPauseCorrect=1 r.TemporalAACatmullRom=1 (alternate algorithm of TAA gen4, produces sharper image) r.TemporalAACurrentFrameWeight=0.3 r.TemporalAASamples=4 (defaults to 8, but I consider that 4 has better image stability and less shimering) r.TemporalAASharpness=0.7 (this control sharpening filter for TAA, set to your liking) r.PostProcessAAQuality=6 r.ScreenPercentage=75 (this controls the percentage of native resolution) r.TemporalAA.Upsampling=1 (this enables TAAU) r.Upscale.Quality=5 (this sets the upscaling method, 5 is the temporal upscaling, all previous are spatial upscalers like lazcos and bicubic, most games default this to 5, but some, like BL3, default it to 3, so we have to change it to 5)
He's had domestic abuse allegations brought against him. Adult Swim has fired him from Rick and Morty, and this seems like it was probably as "Either step down, or you're fired" kind of thing.
I really hate this trend... he has ALLEGATIONS against him... what happened to innocent until proven guilty...
As I said... allegations. But, even allegations can be incredibly damaging to a companies image. It's not uncommon for businesses wanting to separate themselves from someone who has even allegations brought against them. Look at how many companies ended work with Chris Avellone when the allegations against him first appeared. Personally, Rick and Morty should've ended some time ago. But, Adult Swim have proven time and time again how stupid they are (canceling Metalocalypse and Venture Bros)... so, keeping R&M going without the guy that voices the two main characters... no thanks. With High on Life it's not as much as a tough spot. He only voiced one of the guns, and a handful of side characters. Easy enough to replace if future, possible games happen.
This shouldnt effect Rick & Morty, because this issnt a game and squanch games has nothing to do with it. And hmm,...Justin Roiland founed squanch games in 2016...
Well, not him being fired from the game studio but he already got also fired from cooperation with Adult Swim. And he was co writer and voice of both rick and morty, so go figure.
