I like kombustor more then furmark. That got my GPU to 250W at max, happy currently with my perf.

I prefer to use real games. Something heavy, but realistic.

Agreed and whats the point in having something that is bench stable if you game or video encode or whatever. But benches are better in presenting a constant so they are useful as a starting point.

Yes they are. I wanted to know max watts basically. And went from there.

Metro EE runs pretty good on amd cards even with rt enabled.
Idk from what i've seen 6800xt=3060ti in dying light 2, control but in less demanding games like metro it could be faster tho.

I am mostly going by my own experience when I had 3060 ti for a bit in avg it was quite a bit slower.

    Did some tests tonight
    upload_2022-11-27_7-48-48.png

Compared to the reviews here, these seem quite good.
But the reviews are pretty old... while this is quite heavily tweaked.

    3dmark Fire Strike Extreme.png

How do they compare to similar tweaked results from you guys?

Note that I'm not using any bios modification, just the card as it came ( ASUS TUF 6800 XT ) and Adrenalin

    Happy to join this club!

Since I got a new Sapphire Pulse RX 6750 XT OC a few days ago, I tried to test some tunes through the AMD driver suite to get better efficiency since it is very pushed for max performance. I found some good ones that I will write below. In stock mode the clocks go to 2,7GHz@1,2V and draws up to 210W. I tested @1080P the performance, stability and temps with the free GravityMark GPU Benchmark that has a 3 minute duration and has all graphic APIs to test and compare.

Auto-undervolting tune (built into the driver suite): 2,68GHz@1,175V for 190W that increases a bit the stock(=out of the box=factory oced) performance.
Custom tune 1: 2,6GHz@1.175V (results in 2,58GHz@1,05V) for 170W that has ~97% of the stock performance.
Custom tune 2: 2,3GHz@1,125V (results in 2,28GHz@0,875V) for 110W that has ~90% of the stock performance.
Custom tune 3: 2GHz@1V (results in 2GHz@0,825V) for 95W that has ~80% of the stock performance.

I hope those settings and results will help some people find good tunes for hot days or to lower power consumption without losing much performance.

anyone having issues in AVC recording? like having wrong bitrate and resulting in a video full of hangs and bad quality. rising bitrate rises frames quality but stuttering and hangs on the recorded video remains. HEVC works fine.

@Horus-Anhur Yep. Something is definitely off. Cant get above 16k points. CPUZ scores are way low too. Screenshot_74.png

Open Ryzen master and see if the CPU is clocking as it should. At 4550Mhz. Is memory in Dual Chanel. Etc.

Im barely seeing 4300 mhz, and this is with a custom loop with 2 360 rads. I see 63c in cpu physics test. So temps are good for a 5800x3d. Ill see quick spikes of 4450. Ram is dual channel. Single rank sadly, but do have new ram coming that is dual rank. Whats odd, is games do feel smoother then my 5600x@ 4.7 and is about scoring the same..........

Bios is newest. All default settings except DOCP(XMP) enabled. Rebar is on.

    @The_Amazing_X

    I got 654 and 4999 with my 5600x overclocked @4.825
    So something is really off.

Gonna feel dumb about this, where do I set PBO? I never set this on my 1600, 2600x, 2700x, or 5600x. I always set max clocks.
CPU score is up to 11029 in TimeSPY but only 16k points overall.

On a 5800X3D, there is no option in BIOS.
You have to use PBO2 Tuner

Before using PBO, my 5800X3D would go under 4.4 Ghz, while running heavy multi core benchmarks. But with PBO -30, it sticks to 4.45 Ghz all the time.

Thank you will try that. So Timespay is low but firestrike extreme is up. Actually beat yours now. So things going right direction. Screenshot_76.png

Isnt the 5800x3d actually clocked lower than the rest of the 5000 series cpus and all the gaming improvements come from huge L3 cache?
