At first, I thought it was some issue with MSI AB or Radeon Control Panel.
But when you said you had no problem, that's when it dawned on me it could be because I switched from a 2070S to a 6800XT.
I did use DDU to clean nvidia's driver, before installing the new GPU. But I only reset MSI AB.
    Thanks for the help.

To be honest when i swapped out my 1080Ti to a 6900xt i think i had issues as well, and ended up uninstaling a few progs then re-instaling them. Also cleaned the registry and other housekeeping things.

I have a ref Dell OEM 6800xt. Under water it does 2650, 2150. I set min at 2450 and let it boost up.

@Horus-Anhur how is the raytracing performance compared to your 2070super? You tried any game?

Only tried Quake RTX. It's better, but I don't have concrete numbers.
Might try with Metro Exodus EE.

But I didn't use much RT with the 2070S, as it's very weak for that. So I don't have much experience with it.

1440p with dlss 2070 was capable. From what i've seen 6800xt is close to 3060ti and 6900xt to 3070 with rt enabled. Respectable so try it when you can. :)

I always target frame rates around 100 fps. So RT was always easy to sacrifice, as it's impact on performance in huge. Most of the time, it would half my fps.

Yes but in a few games its worth giving it a go. Spiderman for example makes a big difference. 60fps with rt or 100fps without its up to you.

RT in some games is nice, but I prefer 100 fps.

2400 min mhz for core. 2100 for memory with fast setting. Vcore was at 1000 with +-0 power.

Nice card you got there. I can't get a vcore that low for that speed.

Talking about RT, I tried in several games just to see how it looks, and then disabled.
The only games where it makes a very visible difference is the games where developers were too lazy to make proper raster-based shadows or screen space reflections.

And in raster, the 6800 XT kicks ass for the price, with a bit of undervolting it can easily get faster than a 3080 which is still much more expensive.

May have something to do with the fact that I got it very late, just like Ryu. This is clearly 6950XT-quality silicon with blocks disabled to hit a price point.
Process nodes improve over time, but the cut-down cards still need to be sold.

It's kinda' sad that they have to do that, I would rather have a full die cheaper than perfectly working die cut-down to a lower model, but that contradicts commerce so... it is what it is.

What is your actual Voltage during stress, also how many Watts are you pulling.
In Furmark il hit 1175V even though 1120mV is set

Ive been using the same pre-sets for a few months (and driver releases) so i cant pin this down to an exact driver release but for some reason it seems the voltage just does its own thing irrespective of how much i set on the slider.

Actually 6800 XT is already close to 3070. 6900 XT around 3070 ti and 6950 bit faster still.

Furmark is a virus-like program. I wouldn't test my GPU stability on that since the GPU manufacturers have specific algorithms in the firmware or drivers when furmark is running to protect the GPUs. Try playing division2 or Witcher2&3 for over an hour to test the whole system's stability.

Furmark is fine, while the stresses game splace on hardware vary depending on updates and patches, using an Aples Vs Apples bench is more usefull for stats. And i dont have either of those games.
