Reckon we could see 7950xtx later which has extra dies added the MCM block, could also increase cache size too. Guess depends how well cards sell an if the decide if it's worth going for crown this generation with recession.

I'm still waiting for the reviews and some real world game benchmarks.... - they were very shy about this kind of "details".

AMD didn't jump the Nvidia price increase waggon, will be interesting to see actual real world performance.
Now all I have to do is wait 12 months for RX7600 so I can afford a GPU...

Radeon RX 7900 XT 20GB TBP 300W 2.xGhz? looks reasonable okay..2.xGhz shader/ front end... "that makes them save energy"...but is much more difficult to handle for OCer

Why? So long as there are more power connectors, seems to me they just left in a lot of OC headroom.

Maybe a lower clock due to the chiplet design, ultimately its framerates it will be judged on.

Don't forget that those classic 150W PCI-e power connectors are actually massively overspecced and can easily carry 200-220W each without even heating up.

These cards are most likely overclockable even with just two 2x8 power plugs... however, it will throw the efficiency out the window.

Reasonable prices and power. I'm looking forward to game benchmarks.

Something like asus strix or msi suprim will definitely have 3x8pins maybe pushing 400w?

I can "understand" the price of the 7900XTX, after all it undercuts the 4090 by a big margin and it`s going to deliver some big numbers.

But the price of the XT version is simply stupid, it`s a big cut down compared to the XTX but only 100 bucks cheaper.

This means that there`s no point in buying the XT over the XTX because the price difference is just too small.

The XT should be 699 max.

Anyway, the cards look good and with much better prices than Nvidia but they are too expensive for my blood...

Also, i wonder if Nvidia is going to adjust their prices after this announcment.

1.5x of 6950 but 999 dollar price tag, very, very nice.

Something tells me that Jensen fired up that oven of his and he is baking a 4080Ti.

as an eternal debbie downer I have so many things to point out but I won't....
the price looks awesome ! considering in europe the 1080ti cost me roughly 840USD back then
I'm not cancelling the nvidia if it comes it comes if not I'll wait

They basically keep the same pricing as last gen, while Nvidia increased them. Probably part of NV strategy to fix their 30xx serie stock issue.

Nah, he will also bake the prices: 4080 for 1000 and 4080Ti for 1200.
They can modify the prices - and they should...

Will still shred 7900xtx to pieces in ray tracing. 1.5x of 6950 is still 3090 level of rt performance

Cant wait for real world performance numbers with and without RT.

Disappointed in how the presentation made a bigger deal of the power connector than benchmarks.
