Real time reflections on animals and stuff.Far as I can tell, but I did not look at every object in game. So this bird walking by a puddle ,reflection goes through puddle as it walks. EDIT: So I actually started looking, found a big puddle and with the kid I could move the camera and his reflection disappears. So not actual RT reflections. So I was wrong again, well I moght wait for the patch now and play the uncharted games on PC tomorrow. Zooom and enhance. Edit 2: Turned off Control Flow Guard and steady camera.Still same stutter/jitter. Only things that works for me is turning off DLSS. The stutter/jitter I am referring to is if you stand by or in front of objects such as rocks with DLSS any mode. The actual game still has a stutter/jitter also. Awesome I wrote a guide on this site in 2019 if someone wants to know how to change control flow guard. Possible Solution For DX12 Stutter In Individual Games->EG:Metro Exodus/BF5 | guru3D Forums
played thru 2 chapters - max settings, dlss quality at 4k on my 3090 (undervolted to 1800mhz) - 60 - 80fps, think my 5800x3d helped
Anyone try dlss 3 frame generation on this yet? Some people are saying it worka really well in this game on other forums.
Yes, works much better than in Spiderman. It can boost fps >50% and it's often ~impossible to spot artifacts. It feels more laggy than without FG, but definitely looks way smoother.
Just tried the game for 10 minutes and it looks freaking amazing, getting 70FPS avg at 4K Ultra DLSS Balanced on my 3090, no complaint about frame pacing, smooth gameplay with very infrequent stutter during scene changes.
Changing TAA to any other AA type just disables it, which is ok, but the shimmering , especially on the trees, and pop up in the grass ruins it. Everyone is obsessed with having games running at 300FPS, that image IQ doesn't seem a concern any more. I would prefer less frames but more IQ.
Yeah, i guess that would happen was just lazy to try other AA options. Im glad when im done with this game, its rather annoying to play than actually enyjoyable.
I just started the game and encouter two issues, forced vsync gives a black screen. Setting it to app and with ingame v-sync gives tearing, so v-sync won't work? (something to do with framegeneration?) Also I am not pleased with the overexposed bloom/hdr color settings, it ruins the whole experience. Hopefully thats just the prologue only and v-sync will be fixed.
With dlss even 3060 and 2070 can reach 60fps at 1440p. That isnt so bad as i thought. Still dont have the game to try im leaning more over to Uncharted.
Performance is awful when rats come into play... Spoiler 3440x1440 ultra settings - 45 fps 1024x768 low settings - 54 fps Gamepass version. Ryzen 5800x + RTX 3080 10G (latest nvidia drivers installed).
Not a fan of dlss in this game makes the image a bit blurry for my taste. I have not really problems with the rats and the fps in this game. For me its mainly the fire spreading or pools of fire that tanks my fps xD
