    1.Decompress archive
    2.Delete all folders exept -> first screenshot
    3.Open setup.cfg with notepad, go to the bottom of the file, delete strings -> second screenshot
    4.save/close setup.cfg -> run install

    P.S. Forgot to mention this is for RTX cards. For GTX you may need some other folders to stay

    Thanks for update !

    Inside the setup.cfg file, you have to remove 5 lines, not 3 (for RTX and maybe GTX too)
    nvidia clean setup.cfg lines to remove.png

    Is there any issue with installing RTX version on a GTX card? I have 3070 and 1050ti machines and I want to keep a single package if possible.
    Am I missing something in the RTX package which is required for the GTX card?

    Now it's not working again (517.48), "An unknown error has occured" (with NV site EXE too) , like if EXE doesn't work, i used windows update EXE (2022-10-11 KB5018410), it worked, since when NVidia drivers are change to do so ?

    My PC is offline, can't have internet and that's not an option, does it possibly is the cause ?

    Back to 511.79 again... (edit, worked....... ! AGAIN !)

    It seems that by using the NVSlimmer utility it reduces the size even more ...

    I see the "cleaned" versions have some .dll extracted already which makes them bigger when extracted but possibly better when compressed via 7zip,
    but I guess after the installation it doesn't matter anyways :)

    Shoul i try to use task manager and select "Display.Driver" folder ? From 511.79 to update to 517.48 !

    Hello guys and ladies.A question please.Anyone else here has a problem with Control Panel being slow to a crawl every time you are trying to do changes.And is here a way to have the regular Contol Panel back....
