AMD Ryzen 9 7950X Overclocks to 5.80 GHz All-Core (with unknown cooling)

not sure if this is an error or am reading it wrong however a pair of overclocks are reported, the first yes on some sort of cooler hence the low temps but the second was on a standard 280mm AIO by AMDs XOC team which is the more impressive, the images show both results but all core at 5.5ghz at 87 deg c is pretty good on a AIO

Damn. I remember when we get excited Ryzen+ hit 4.3.

 

All I read was the 7950 and I was thinking about the gpu. Crazy to think that was 10 years ago.

Well if the cooling method used is unknown then it's kind of irrelevant tbh.

 

OC is not my thing nowadays, PBO suits my needs very well, but it's good to know that it is available.
