That's honestly a silly thing to do... you will be waiting for more than a year to get the 4090 TI, and it will be 10% faster than the regular 4090 and a huge premium. The people who bought a 3090 ti ought to feel like fools, and you likely will if you wait for a 4090 ti aswell.

The vast majority of performance increase will come with the 4090.

None, however the 4090 is the only one I would get, if I could. Given how aged the rest of my system is, it would be bottlenecked and likely straight up not run with my PSU. I have a feeling this card will create a lot of drama around the power draw and older PSU (despite meeting the specs on paper) won't handle them. So I'd say it's not such a bad idea to wait for the new PSU line-ups to show up properly and also for RDNA3 comparison before making a decision.

In a perfect world I would build an entire new system around a potential 7900X3D (or the Intel alternative) and a 4090 (or the AMD alternative)... but given how I would look at a ez 4-5K euros price tag, it's probably just wishful thinking. :p

Pricing seem ridiculous. Especially for the 192-bit '4080'. Dafuk.
Are we sure GPU mining is dead?

But we desperately need some benchies Hilbert ;)

How can you see who abstained from voting? Answer : you can’t. So that's a hollow argument.

So add "none" as an option.

That sounds a bit too generous - 128 bit is more like it :p

Oh, right. Now that the outrageous pricing scheme was revealed, I can forget about the 700 euros 4060 Ti and just vote for a 600 euros 4060, haha.

Whelp, with the new prices announced it seems to me Nvidia really wants to clear out their 3000 series stock lol. I'm pretty bummed out that the new DLSS 3.0 tech will be exclusive to the new cards seeing as HWU confirmed that the particular required hardware is present in the 3000 series cards, albeit slower/less powerful than in the 4000 series (which is why Nvidia claims they made the new improvement exclusive).

At these prices frankly there is no way I would buy any of the announced cards. But if the 4070 and lower models actually have a good amount of VRAM this go around probably that one if I'm choosing realistically. Though I likely won't upgrade til at least one more gen from this point myself (don't get me wrong, I'd like to but these prices are just hoo-boy).

I'll buy a Zotac Trinity non-OC(very likely) RTX 4090 in next ones months for stay during ~7 years because 24GB will run well on all future games until between 2028 and 2030. :D

I will wait for real benchmarks and the price to drop. As it will happen. DLSS 3.0 is a gimmick, adding in extra "fake" frames to make it look like you are getting better frames which will in turn add latency to your games. So you won't want to use it in competitive games.

That 70% increase is only with DLSS 3.0, natively it will only be a 20-25% increase. Can't wait for the real benchmarks to show how crap the 4000 gen really is without DLSS 3.0. I would have got a 4090 but not for the $3000 base price, going to feel bad when people buy it straight up and 6 months later it drops to $300-500 but they are the people who will buy anything even a polished turd :D

4090 looks strong even if you take out dlss3 but both 4080's look not that impressive considering the price. 4080 16gb is like 20-25% faster than 3090ti.

Im waiting to see what amd can do with rdna3.

I'm waiting anyway on AMD, but the 4090 is tempting if it's around $3,000 New Zealand.
