why not undervolt for cp 2077 though ? it makes sense more than other games since it's more demanding

You are power limited at 50w with 10700k arent you? Cyperpunk is a very cpu demanding game.

Its CPU heavy. Better FPS one would assume.

yeah it's much more gpu heavy than cpu heavy and if you've a 3060ti,why keep the cpu at high voltage. you're a poor sleuth and I don't think you actually know what an undervolted cpu is, it's at normal frequency but -100mv

no I don't really use power limits on cpus ever all it helps is introduce stutter
I uv and get 70w 10700f is just that power efficient in games, it takes some tinkering though stock voltage was 1.35v but I got it down to 1.25v the difference is massive
I jumped back into the game to see if I remembered things correctly and yes, it might spike to around 70 or even 75 but most of the time it's 65 or lower

all rt is on and I have dlss 2.4.6 balanced mode active

better power draw was the big reason I bought a 5700X instead of the X3D though the X3D does sip electrons for how good it is.

If you undervolt, it means you have a higher performance per watt. It doesn't mean you necessarily lower the total watts, but what you get out of each watt. An undervolted 3090 at 400W, is going to be faster than a non-undervolted 3090 at 400W TDP.

That's what I do too now on RocketLake, actually in some scenarios I have to go -130mv and it works perfect.

Atm chillin on adaptive + offset 1.20v 4.8ghz all core, and beats stock 11900k :D

from what I saw RL only gets power hungry and or hot once you go over 1.30v, guess that 1.30v limit still stands.. this 11700kf does 5ghz at 1.285v, while 5.1 already needs 1.37v and that will start to eat some serious power 250w+ full load

Good afternoon you squids! I picked up a 3090 ti and a 1000 watt power supply. I'm good to go. Bring on the power spikes and high energy consumption.. God bless America. :D

That's what we want right? higher performance at the same TDP? 450w is what the 3090 should have been at from the beginning anyway, it's still very power limited even at 450.

TSMC could give Nvidia the dies for free and you think they will pass the savings on to you? LOL, come on you have to know better than that. Nvidia's costs going down have nothing to do with what they charge you, which will always be more if the competition let's them get away with it.

Sometime 2023. I guess spring (late Q1 but more likely Q2), but that's just a guess.

My 3080 Suprim was 1.25 out of the box and it had a max draw of 380watts but i run it .925/1900 and the most I`ve seen is around 320 with vsync on but it usually sits around 290-312watts, this gives me around 550-650watts total system draw at the wall for my Corsair sf750, despite the amount of sfx cases on the market finding anything above 750watts is hard at a reasonable price

I've never measured my totalmpower usage but I think my UPS has that function, i thinknil check the Manuel, would be interested to see how much of my 1200w PSU is being used.

That's really odd. 2 3080 ti's died. I'd get a new power supply. I just got a EVGA 3090 ti ultra with an EVGA 1000 watt psu and not 1 issue..

both of these have the same assymetrical component configuration that the dying 3090's had, UP9511 and AOZ power stages.

UP9511 and AOZ configuration is the reference spec, and only suited for the reference spec.

anything with an OC on it needs better response times in the power stage.

EVGA shipped 3080ti's and 3090ti's with the NCP81610 from the start and have no reported failure cases TMK.
