more intrested ins 4060ti tdp and performance, i have very little intrest in GPU using more then 200 watts that is already to much heat to be dumped in my room which what my 1070ti pushes at it highest. i prefer 150 max at this point but they dont seem to make those anymore

That's actually what everyone is concerned about.
Altho 750W PSU is capable to receive large power spike and still go on , it depends how big it is on new systems.
Also new CPU specs are 125w or something.
In reality CPU is able to pull 220w on turbo.

One fix would be to give a good PSU recommendation. Miners would appreciate it too.
We will see, it will be interesting for sure.

  3. Oh great, even more wild dreams from some dude on Twitter. Statistically, with every "leak" the chance to have something right increases so why not, right?

I also like to keep an eye on GPU energy consumption. Metro Exodus enhanced will hit a random max of 145W and BioShock Infinite will hit a random max of 44W. When playing Bioshock I, the GPU fans rarely come on.

I dont think a regular i5/i7 r5/r7 will need more than 80w for gaming Ive never seen more than 70w on my 10700 even in cyberpunk though it is undervolted and im using ram OC instead of a CPU OC its only 115w in stress test. Its also important to know the OPP value for your psu just to be safe get one that can take 1000w spikes.should be most 850w units that will take that although it varies cheap ones will only do 900w decent ones will do 1000w and best ones will even do 1150w

Yeah the good old days of 1070 matching a 980ti at half the power I wonder what NVIDIA can deliver to match the 3070 on 4nm

Just clickbait as usual - equivalent to The Daily (Hate) Mail having article titled "Middle Income Workers Dispair As This Family Never Worked A Day In Their Lives But Were Given A Five Bed Detached House To Live In"

A CX. I know I'm living on the edge. I never expected to end up with a 3090 so I had never planed to "properly" power one

all cx750 units are rated for +900w before they shut down I'd be more worried about the back side vram temps on a dell 3090 than the psu as long as you keep it at 350w

If that is the case, you could see some great overclocking on the best AIB units, albeit with a lot of power use. Another thing that could happen if yeilds are low, core count could be reduced from what was originally planned.

the Tsmc 7nm ampere was a lot more power efficient than the Samsung ampere , so even if they kept the ampere architecture and just port it to 5 nm is not really too unreasonable that alone to give em +50% performance while they keep the same consumption at least that's what my logic says i might be wrong :p

That will no doubt be influenced by what AMD bring to the market. I'm interested in what particular area they focus, price, power efficiancy or performance as you can't push all three, they are related and on a sliding scale relative to each other.

Not sure about that. TMSC's costs are up at least 20% since the release of the 3080.

If the 4000 cards don't RRP 20% higher than their 3000 equivalent did, I'd be amazed.

    Yeah,I know its undervolted.
Because you are a poor man from Poland running 10th Gen i7 and worried about electricity.

Times are hard I understand, but when you run Cyberpunk ... dont run it with undervolt. Thanks

    • You sometimes post benchmarks and shop prices from Poland
    • Notice you was worried about electricity when talking about CPU's
    • Now I see Undervolted CPU on Cyberpunk
    I put -1 -1 - 1 together = -3 and replied.
