From my experience, I really do not need it yet!
I can play almost every new game on top quality, with 48 to 60 FPS @ 2k or 4k, smooth as butter. I do not need no 60 or 144 steady FPS! ;)

1% lows would see much higher fps even at 1440p and it wont break the bank. You can get 2600/b450/16gb 3200 for 200eur. Its worth it.

Darn near had a heart attack installing this, took a while to fully install, and system seemed to have hung for about 2-3 minutes. Almost went for the 'Rest' button for a hard reset, everything seemed to have taken a little more time. Finally installed and it seem to be working *fingers crossed*

I have performance regression in emulators on OpenGl. :) Thanks AMD for the deterioration.

Would love to see Valve agree to let AMD support the Steam Deck with the mainline drivers.

Yeah, but what's the point? The Steam Deck gets better performance and efficiency with Proton / DXVK / VKD3D / OpenGL on Linux.

Mesa OpenGL driver much better than AMD.

Except it doesn't. A lot of games run better on Windows.

I Repackage Adrenalin 22.5.1 with OpenGL Beta driver based on Adrenalin 22.7.1 driver package.

If you have compatibility problems and need to rollback to Adrenalin 22.5.1 and need a new version of OpenGL Beta driver, you can download and install it.

    • Vega Pro not showing AMD VCE with 22.5.2 or latest.
    • DaVinci Resolve not working AMD VCE with 22.5.2 or latest.
    • AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 22.5.1 with OpenGL WHQL driver package
      • Compatible with Vega Pro version 19.0
      • Compatible with DaVinci Resolve version 18.0

Has anyone had an increase in micro-stuttering across the board (DX11, DX12 and OpenGL games alike) with the 22.7.1 driver?

@Hilbert Hagedoorn Do you think you'd do some benchmarks of the new driver with OGL games and software?. I'd love to see your thoughts and findings. How do OGL games such as Minecraft, Wolfenstein New Order and Old Blood fair and OGL benchmark apps as well as other software?

Probably building a new shader cache, it'll probably clear after a few runs of games. When I tested Ryujinx yesterday, it stuttered for the fist minute but then it stabilised.

Sounds possible, I'll give it some time and see how it goes. Thanks.

AMD like always late to the party with that "Noise Supression"
Nvidia abandon they half baked RTX voice (it's a gimmick, no one who is serious about streaming/recording is using it.

If people really need something like that, there is RNNoise, it's FREE works on every hardware.
It's a "community" project, the AI system got all the data from the creator and people who where testing and using it.
No need to install any services or additional audio drivers, that will mess up your setup.

    To those with AMF problems...
AMF on 22.6.1 (also on 22.5.1/.2) recording/rendering works here tested on ReLive, OBS, Vegas Pro and few others.
You can install AMD Encoder for OBS, more stable libraries.

You can always ditch out that broken ReLive, OBS Studio is in every way better.

AMD, after years you still offer me as custom video options JUST "Custom Brightness"?!? Are you crazy?

Years ago we had tons of video options that you hid in non-editable video profiles (with unknown settings inside). Next time instead of inventing the wheel (like noise suppression) - just bring the old good video settings back to us!

    Damn that's some tasty increase!

Also looking forward to this as Quake 1.5 (darkplaces source port) is OGL.
I'm currently running it on alternate DX9 mode with DXVK and it helps a lot but this sounds very promising (the creator of darkplaces recommends using OGL).

Well, after testing it for +20 streams with +100 viewers, my conclusion is RTX Voice is better than RNNoise but it is still broken imo. Any serious streamer still needs proper voice setup.
I'd like to test AMD's tool too. I hope it'll become universal like FSR.

Also stock OBS still uses AMF SDK from 2019 so you won't benefit from any update anyway. It's just disappointing.

You may use unofficial updated AMF plugins for OBS like this but personally I didn't like it anyway. Still not stable for Twitch streaming.

Anyone else having a issue of not having AMD Software neither in system tray nor when right clicking on desktop? Radeon Software doesn't start by itself, but I have to start it manually everytime.. Same with 22.6.1 and 22.7.1.... On 22.5.1 I haven't had this issue. Windows 11 Insider build.

Make sure you have windows updates disabled or no connection to internet while installing the drivers.

I will try it, but I used DDU to uninstall previous ones (22.5.1) and install these new ones. 22.5.1 installed everything just fine 2 or 3 days ago.
