Fixed Issues

Known Issues

• Stuttering may be experienced while playing Call of Duty®: Warzone™ on the Caldera map with some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6900 XT Graphics.
• Radeon™ Super Resolution may fail to trigger after changing resolution or HDR settings on games such as Nioh™ 2.
• Virtual Reality headsets may flicker with some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6800 XT Graphics.
• GPU utilization may be stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after closing games on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon™ 570.
• Display may flicker black during video playback plus gameplay on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6700 XT.
• Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.

No longer than an hour ago I checked the drivers page to see if anything new was up.

 

I give them some testing tonight with Forza horizon 5, FC6 and some Dirt 5
I see that new beta is coming too, (new App update in store for UWP beta driver installed on my systen right now) and some update for Forza

Another new driver with OpenGL and DirectX 11 optimizations only for Navi !
The other graphics gpus, do not exist anymore !

 

not sure about dx11, but OGL update works for all supported gpus polaris included

 

Wow AMD team fixed incompatibility with Radeon FanController, thanks guys!

 

With installation it asked if i want to install software from amd. So something is not signed properly.
(if someone in the past accepted it when there exist a same situation , it will not ask in this driver version of driver again)

 

Good to see AMD trying to compete with nvidia by making their own alternative of RTX voice.

 

Citra (N3DS Emulator) crashes now with the new driver was hoping it would improve performance

Can still use the mesa driver and zinc wrapper at least.

So I just tested Ryujinx, Nintendo Switch emulator that uses OpenGL and it has shown a MASSIVE improvement!

Last time I tested the emulator in May, I ran Metroid Dread - native driver, I had 130fps in the opening area - I then attempted to use the "mesa on windows" https://github.com/pal1000/mesa-dist-win drivers along with the Zinc vulkan wrapper which improved FPS to 260fps, the new drivers have go fps to 315fps!!!

 

wew did they finally ditch fglrx for radeon si, ill have to take a look, they've been setup for such a transistion for a long time now.
