Doesn't happen with 512.95 for me.

Btw. much hotter days, I've increased visual settings in Fortnite, and exactly zero driver crashes in eventlog for almost a fortnight with 512.95. Weird coincidence of Port-au-Prince.

Off topic again, you recommend installing them over the previous one or we need to uninstall the previous one then install the newer one. Thanks in advance.

 

Just run the setup, drivers will be updated if needed, no need to uninstall the previous one.

I uninstalled the 4.0.3 driver cleaned my system with windows 11 manager ,junkfile scan and registry scan, after a restart i installed 4.0.6 and my system is faster
I think Crap cleaner works too before update

 

It is not an update for version 4.0.3 chipset driver, fTMP on Agesa 1.2.0.7 was already fixed with the latest bios update. with the 4.0.3 chipset version
with 4.0.6 installed my geforce GTX1660 Super OC is more responsive, i hope RTX cards too...4.0.6 Chipset gain performace improvement on the PCIe channel(s)

I noticed that my system is faster with this chipset too, I'm on Win 11 22H2

 

I wrote it incorrectly. I meant I lost my USB thumb drive in case it was misunderstood. I downloaded the ISO file as I always do and it worked perfectly by right-clicking, mount, and pressing "setup". The entire process went fine with all options available ( clean install or retain files etc ). Thank you anyway!

 

Why on Earth I read AMD chipset drivers discussion in NVIDIA drivers thread??? Are companies merged???

 

i am using win 10 home 64bit 21h2, i9 10900 non k stock, 32gb ddr4, 3 hdd sata3 7200rpm.... since late june, after install new windows update and v512.59, my PC, idle in dekstop or still playing pc games, there is some stutter or some input lag sometimes....
but, after instal this new nvidia driver v516.40, still sometimes there is stutter or input lag,why is that ??

is there any solution ??

after observe some few minutes with my task manager, when my pc desktop is idle, my win explorer for few seconds, sometimes goes into high cpu and power usage..... why this is happen ?? how to fix that bug ??

Yeah, grab SSD, at least for OS and new games XD
