AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 22.5.2 driver download and discussion

22.5.2 (Optional) shows in GPU-Z: HAGS as Off(Supported) on my 5700 XT, W11. I don't have the option to manually enable it in Windows Settings though.

Using the Registry Tweak does not enable it either, nor make the option show in Windows Settings.

possible bug happens also with me on Chrome ver 102 build, just disable hardware acceleration as temporarily fix, until they figure out this

Yeah I did, been stable since.

Makes sense it would also affect Chrome.

 

Did you tried disabling oc? Stock core + mem?

 

It's not bothering me. I have a slight UV only.

 

Is HAGS only available on XT cards? I have a bog standard RX5700 and the registry tweak doesn't enable it and the option doesn't show in default graphics settings...

 

Yep, seems to only work for W11 22H2 currently.

Another weird one, since I updated to this driver (and updated my bios but using the same saved settings), the mouse cursor keeps vanishing in MS Word (hide mouse when typing is of course disabled), new issue today that I cannot fathom!

I have now a 6700XT
What an absolute nightmare were these drivers (and v31.0.12000.20010) for Overwatch. Stutter galore! We are talking from 150 to 10 fps every other second.
I thought at one poin that the card was at fault.
But, everything else was working just fine. So, I decided to try 22.5.1 and lo and behold, the stutter is gone.

Reported the problem via the report tool, though, I did it with 22.5.1 driver installed. Hope it counts. I specfically said in the report that it was 22.5.2 that's at fault.

 

Try new M$ update KB5014023

 

Not sure if it was discussed in this or the preview thread, but you can switch between the PAL and traditional drivers with a registry edit: https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/amd-radeon-software-uwp.437511/page-37#post-6022984

22.5.2 breaks Oculus Link, but doing the edit above for just the 64-bit dlls fixes it nicely.

Edit: ALVR works fine without the fix above (works fine with the PAL dlls)
