So that price on Steam, just backfired on IO Interactive.
A 51% user rating. And a peak player count of just 2082.

Yeah, the fans really didn´t like getting ripped off.

    No, not yet.
It´s an Intel sponsored title. So, probably, it will only get the RTX+XeSS when Intel releases their Alchemist GPUs.

Here are the requirements for the Ray-racing patch for the game.

PC Requirements for Ray Tracing and Adaptive Supersampling

They are also adding DLSS and FSR 1.0 support. Sadly for AMD and nVidia users of older cards, no FSR 2.0
This is a sponsored title by Intel, but there is still no word about XeSS.

This patch sounds great, if it works with no problems.

I have just started playing, and it is loads of fun.

The patch should just make it better.

NVIDIA RTX3080 can’t run Hitman 3’s Ray Tracing effects smoothly even at 1440p with DLSS Performance

    Holy sh**!!
How heavy is the RT on this game?

My 2070S is already afraid of Hitman III.

Already tried it. Seems to be one of the most useless RT implementations, RT shadows generally look ugly in this game and large chunks of the reflections disappear like with SSR in many interior environments.
Massive disappointment, looks and performs like crap vs. RT in Control.

Does the new driver improve RT performance in hitman 3?

"We’ve also tested the latest 512.95 drivers, and performance was identical to the 512.77 drivers."

It seems like a bad rt implementation performance and visual.

I assumed so because the driver release nots said this "This new Game Ready Driver provides the best day-0 gaming experience for the HITMAN 3 – Year 2 update, which introduces ray tracing and uses NVIDIA DLSS to more than double framerates."

Hmm even then the driver should have more performance then the old driver. hmm weird.

I assume that as being a driver that has been verified for quality assurance.
When there are performance gains, nVidia makes a statement about the percentage gains.

A few first impressions. Playing the entrance of the Paris level from the first Hitman.
The game runs in DX12 but has no stutter. It's buttery smooth.
At native, everything maxed out, no RT, I get ~80 fps. Which is maybe a bit higher than the original Hitman in DX11.
Turning on DLSS Quality I get ~105 fps. But the game ships with version 2.3.2 and this has a ton of ghosting in moving particles, like falling leaves.
Tried 2.3.11 and got the same result. Looks really bad when going near a garden.
But DLSS 2.4.3 looks almost perfect. Just a tiny bit of ghosting. Virtually imperceptible, unless I'm really looking for it.
RT is s crap fest. It has only 2 settings: Sun Shadows and Reflections.
Sun shadows drops my frame rate back to ~80. But it looks exactly the same as being off. So it's a waste of resources.
Reflections can be noticed on the water fountain. And it does look better than the normal reflections. But not much.
The issue is that this setting alone, drops my performance into the ~30 fps range. Absolutely not worth it.

I could justify running RT on games like Metro Exodus EE, Control, Quake RTX, etc.
But on this game it's completely pointless.

I just started a new game and performance seems fine Max out ray tracing RTX 3080. I will try some saves half way through the game and check performance and see if performance tanks or reflection /shadows not worth the FPS hit. I own every Hitman game out that I know of and I have not finished one of them and for some reason I do not want to play this game either, maybe tomorrow I can give it a real shot at some gameplay.

What is "fine" for you? The benchmark above stated 3080 cant reach 60fps at 1440p with dlss.

Thanks for asking and fine for me on G-sync Monitor with 2560x1440 Ray Tracing Max Ultra settings

Since I have the game and have a RTX 3080, I have tested the game at same setttings as the benchmark above and performance is fine. With actual recording video you will lose some FPS but I made a video from desktop to finish of benchmark no interruptions

EDIT: Forgot to add Dubai Map,same as benchmark where RTX 3080 could not get 60FPS.I actually did not read the article just heading.

Hitman 3 Benchmark Test Dubai MapRay Tracing FPS is fine. I did not play the game with Ray tracing enabled

    DLSS-Performance 110FPS AVG

Hitman 3 Benchmark Test Dartmoor Map Ray Tracing FPS is fine. I did not play the game with Ray tracing enabled

    DLSS-Performance 87FPS AVG
